2026 Prosper OL Zaden Krempin is on campus this afternoon. Krempin was on campus April 5 and returns for a quick midweek trip. He will officially visit the Longhorns on June 13. The focus here is to get as much one-on-one time with Kyle Flood and the staff as possible. Official Visits May 30 – LSU June 6 – SMU June 13 – Texas June 20 – Michigan

As the 2025 team fills out with the last few additions, it is clear that we have a crazy talented team. I'd like to look at remaining depth issues, which may play into how we fill the last few slots. I've broken it down into a few categories: Rooms that have high end top line talent that could have major drop off with injury, but Sark has done all that is possible at this point: QB - Arch Manning, most important player on team. Owens has thrown a few meaningless passes, but it's not like we can bring in another body into this room. K - Assume Shipley is the guy. Could Stone be serviceable? Again, coaches have done everything they can to fix last year's…

Played 2 years juco then 2 years at Appalachian St before transferring to UCLA in December. Will be interesting to see which QB does better this season. Assuming Nico will have the better season at QB but Tennessee should still have the better overall result. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is meeting with the media this morning for his final availability of the spring. The Longhorns were on the field at Denius for practice No. 13 of the spring, leaving just a one last tune up on Thursday ahead of the Fan Fest on Saturday. The expectation on Saturday is that the Longhorns will practice in the morning of the 26th in the bubble before heading over to DKR for the festivities with the fans. 2027 Dripping Springs OL Hudson Whitenight will be back on campus this Saturday for the Longhorns’ spring fan fest. The trip back to campus will mark Whitenight’s second trip to the 40 Acres in as many months after he attended the Longhorn City Limits event on March 29. Texas has yet to offer Whitenight, but that could change this weekend. I’ve been told Ohio State has begun picking up interest in the Dripping Springs offensive lineman who now holds offers from Nebraska and Arizona State.

First time potential season ticket holder here, got a time slot for potentially getting some seats, was curious what everyone’s thoughts were or if I even have a real chance. Thinking about how incredible Sark has been with instilling his culture, raising the bar on caliber of recruiting and attracting the right type of players (minus a few exceptions) through the portal. Just as important, how much the longhorns clearly want to play for Sark and stay with the Longhorns, despite the temptation to leave for more money. When other teams like OU and A&M are losing 20-30% of their roster to the portal, Texas retains virtually all their talent. Only the players who are unlikely to see playing time decide to bolt. ESPN ranked Arch the #5 player nationally and #3 QB behind Malachi Nelson and Dante Moore. 🤣 On3 ranked Arch the #2 QB behind Nico.🤪 247 and Rivals both ranked Arch the best QB and #1 overall recruit in the country. 🤘🏼🧡 Think there will be no doubt after the next 2 seasons who the clear #1 player in the 2023 recruiting class was. University of Texas head football coach Steve Sarkisian has agreed to speak to the Touchdown Club of Houston. He will speak and take questions at noon, Mon., April 28, at the Bayou City Event Center. Tickets are $50 each. Tables are $500 (regular), $750 (bronze), $1,000 (silver), $1,500 (gold) and $2,500 (platinum). All tables are 10 seats each.

Another thought popped into my head. Nagy as GM has to make decisions based upon what him and his team believe a players value is. I can see Nagy having a conversation with Stone and/or his representation to say “Enter the portal to see what your true value is” and then we can go from there. Makes sense from both sides. Nagy and OU haven’t closed the door on his return to Oklahoma. I’m rooting for him to leave and turn into an all American at Oklahoma State.

Cool nugget from last night — KJ Lacey and Bo Barnes sat front row down the left field line to see Jonah Williams’ first career start on the diamond. Ended up being quite a good one for Jonah who went 2–4 at the plate with 3 runs batted in. Now, according to Jim Schlossnagle, Williams will be starting in left field “for the foreseeable future” after the Friday night victory against Auburn.
