Landed Willis-Callis
Not sure, but I hope Texas has some interest in Myson Johnson-Cook. Athlete projected to be a RB in college.
-
Virginia’s RB
To be fair, UVA has an OL that getting some serious push in the running game. It makes a difference, especially in the red zone.
-
Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood in H'town today and Friday
Hopefully Texas has a big NIL budget for OL for the ‘27 cycle. Would love to see them get at least three of Brown, Swanson, Camara, Johnson, Ford, and Scott

OU Tears Thread
They really think this team is gonna have an out of nowhere, magical 2000-esque season lol it doesn't help that they've landed 2 5-star OL in the last 24 hours

Napier: DJ Lagway is "100%"
Yeah just need to finish that clip with the Jelani McDonald pick from last game

Early Firings Aren’t Panic—They’re Positioning
Curious to see how long of a leash Wisconsin gives Luke Fickell. Dude should've stayed at Cincy.

Arch's career so far at Texas
I could see that, but I still think Texas should get one more RB in the portal. Gibson, Clark, Stewart, Cooper, Simon, and a portal RB would give you a strong six deep for next season. Grab a backup QB, WR, and a couple of OL and the offense will be nice.

Mateer thumb injury?
If he was that good, they wouldn't have went out and got Mateer. I'm sure he'll be better by having a better OC, but not enough to seriously threaten this Texas defense.
-
Mateer thumb injury?
Eh they don't need a QB to beat Kent St, but after that omg it could get ugly really quick in conference play
-
Mateer thumb injury?
You saw what happened to Casey Thompson's career at Texas when he had a thumb injury. That is nothing to play with. Sucks for Mateer.
-
Mateer thumb injury?
Probably because that game is BV's job security

Mike Gundy - YOU’RE FIRED!
This ended like Gary Patterson's tenure ended at TCU. Both long time employed head coaches and legends at their programs, but both went out on a sour note.

Mike Gundy - YOU’RE FIRED!
Wow they actually had the stones to do it

Kyle Flood has got to go
We'll find out how much this offensive line has improved in these next two games that's for sure.

SEC Reveals Repeat Football Opponents
SEC got it right for Texas. I know some would prefer LSU or Georgia over Arkansas, but Arkansas just made too much sense to be that tertiary permanent rival. Some of the other teams permanent opponents are a little shocking though.

QB question
Sark seems to be opening up to the idea of more mobile QBs to run his offense, which I think you need in this era of football more than ever. Loved seeing some designed runs to get Arch engaged emotionally in this last game.

Texas and Clemson 4-star commit Dre Quinn
Someone from Texas showed him the call from Tyler from Spartanburg and that’s got him thinking

I want Deron Rippey Jr. to be a Horn

Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza is playing at an incredible level
If Indiana beats Iowa in Kinnick, they will probably make the CFP as long as they take care of business in their games not named Oregon and Penn State. Even against Oregon and Penn State, they must keep it close for the committee to put them in at 10-2. Cignetti is a hell of a coach and is IU football’s version of Bob Knight. I can’t believe I thought IU made a mistake in letting Tom Allen go. This is why I could never be an athletic director lol

Wonder if Peter Woods regrets not portaling
Eh it is what it is. He’s going to the NFL after this season regardless of Clemson’s overall performance. I do like their WR Wesco though
-
Florida Recruits
Baugh, Simon, Cooper, and Stewart would be a pretty nice RB room. You would have it all from power, speed, acceleration, vision, pass catching, and pass pro.

Offensive Coaching Staff
Mike McDaniel might be available soon.

25-26 Director's Cup Thread
I have a feeling this will be her last season in Austin. Texas can upgrade there for sure. CDC is not shy about making a move.
