Agree. Looking at it beyond just “what does the contract say” if players want to leave they shouldn’t get paid for just sitting on their ass.

I’d agree with that after watching all of his throws from last year and this year several times. poor anticipation, poor ability to layer, accuracy can be inconsistent.

You guys highlighted the TE’s today as maybe a team strength. I think you forgot to include TE blocking which most certainly is not a team strength.

Regardless we need to get Nick Brooks some snaps ASAP. It’s very unfortunate he didn’t play a lot last week. If/When Goosby goes pro (and he’s already having the type of season to) it’s probably going to be Brooks and Baker. we will probably need to portal some OL next year as well if we are serious about a championship

I’d have to disagree I think. Even with the two factors you mentioned above we still had a chance to tie at the end. And that’s with two other trips to inside the 10 when we came away with zero points

I don't know about a stronger arm than Burrow but comparable i'd say yes. As far as arm talent, Arch has a long way to go from Burrow and i'm just comparing them in college. Arch does not posses the same accuracy Burrow had nor does he throw with the same anticipation and have the ability to layer the football that Burrow had. But Arch is still young and we will need to see how he progresses.

Exactly. Butler is probably that guy but he’s struggling to be consistent to catch the ball. hopefully Clark will have some of that juice in the sense of quickness to make people miss

Basically the same for Arch then. Although I guess DJ has played a little more. For the OL/DL I’m just going off of what experts thought and where they were rated. They were both top 10 in the country pre season. Couldn’t tell anything really with their first game.

Where did you see that. I read where their yards after contact was pretty bad.

Man i‘m not sure about this take at all. Florida has a good OL, a good DL, better WRs this year, a really good RB and a good QB if he’s healthy. And it’s at their place and they will be battle tested in the lead up games. I think it will be a close game that we can very easily lose if our QB doesn’t play better and our RBs continue to go down after first contact.

Our RBs (while I love them both) are average. the defense Ohio st was playing allowed for running the ball.
