Wardell Mack Arrested

Featured Replies

Sad to hear. Thought he would be playing over the next few games with a chance to work. Maybe he still will, but hard to say.

There is absolutely no reason to get a DWI/DUI in 2025. Especially not in Austin, there's always an Uber or Lyft five minutes away.

The more disturbing thing to me is it said Wednesday morning. So that means he was drinking before or right after practice.

How do you do this given what happened to Nick Brooks (proven not to be what was reported initially, but still) and the HC you play for?  Makes no sense.  Hopefully he learns and grows from this.

It said early Wednesday morning. Guessing that's like 1 am.

The hardest thing to do is lead young men. Every weekend in the military I recieved and issued safety briefing and of course there was always one, my 1SG would look at me and ask why? Hell idk, he had the same briefings everyone else had.

Great, turning into Georgia without the national championships.

Yes, we're basically Florida 2009 at this point. I heard that Jerrick Gibson actually murdered Jonah Williams.

Whatever, it happens. We now probably won't see Mack on the field these next 3 games, potentially the rest of the season.

These are kids. It’s going to happen. They live in Austin too. Just a kid making a mistake. This is not an unforgivable offense.

Many of these kids have a chance to make more money than most of us will ever see in our lifetimes. And that’s just in college, never mind the NFL. In most cases the only thing that stands between their success and failure is themselves. Hope he realizes this and learns from this experience.

What would you think about cutting the NIL money during/if there is a suspension? I doubt there will be a suspension though but just saying you start cutting into people’s money they will start calling an Uber

Always sad to see legal issues even when its players from other programs. Hopefully he can overcome this and still have a stellar Longhorns career.

Relax we still have like 30 more players to go until they can start the UGA comparisons

He will most certainly be suspended for half of if not the rest of the season. Sark doesn’t play the DWI bullsh*t given his history with alcohol.

Probably easier to tie it to an arrest/conviction than a suspension.
