Two things Texas can do in 2026 to maximize a potentially historic offense
Great article. In addition Texas will have to stop shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. The biggest thing I would like to see Texas improve on is accountability with proper correction throughout the season. Texas has the pieces barring injury.

Anthony Hill Jr. projected in the first round in this mock draft
Ant has first round talent. PK not putting him in correctly cost him several draft spots. Could and should have had a few more sacks.

Sark setting high expectations
Its great that Sark is confident, however its a long season. Injuries can happen, a bad bounce, offense or defense not gelling the way they should, etc. My point is theres a lot of talent, and just as many question marks.

David Gbenda signed by Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL)
Gbenda is one of my favorite Horns. Dude has heart and made the best of opportunities when they presented themselves.

Jim Schlossnagle on Jonah Williams' shoulder surgery, spring plans and two-sport future
I have great respect for Jonah the athlete. While he may get another year maybe 2, i would prefer fo see him be great and healthy at one as opposed to above average at both but not excelling at either.

Live Thread: Zoom call with Sean Miller after Texas makes the NCAA Tournament
Texas needs to play well with equal effort on both ends of the court. Dont matter how many you score if you dont stop the other team on the other end.

Texas offers local Longhorns legacy today | Fri. 2:30 pm
With changes in Division will it affect the development of players at schools like Aledo bumping up, DeSoto bumping down ref weekly competition and playoffs?

Another dawg bites the dust…
A better question is why would parents not be more involved given the history. If I had kids looking at UGA there would definitely be a conversation and discouragement from that program.

Favorite Arch Manning Throw of 2025
I am more impressed with the throws he didnt make than the ones he did. Threw it away when needed and didnt put the ball in danger the last half the season.

Tolerance for college football woes is waning
Absolutely. Just waiting for a bunch of IMG style hs start popping up all over the country. Sped up type development and college prep for 4 and 5 star athletes feeding bigger college programs. It a shame it has become what it has.

Tolerance for college football woes is waning
The joy for me was watching hs kids grow into young men developing and playing with passion and love for the sport. Its getting more and more like the pros where everything is about money and getting paid. They dont care about team or the fans and alum that pour money into the program so that they have the best eqipment, coaches, facilities to become their best. Absolutely agree that things def need to change or fans both rabid and general are gonna bail. I dont blame them one bit. At least theres still hs sports until they get corrupted as well.

College Football Playoff to remain at 12 teams this season
Just more proof that it is not about the best 12 getting in. This is a great way to loose college football fans. Ridiculous

Maybe a question or topic on the website from different viewpoints and bring a few comments suggestions etc on the channel. Overall yall do a great job covering the Horns!!

2027 NFL Draft: Littered with Longhorns (ESPN)
If he cleans up the penalties he is. Definitely has the physical tools and a bit of potential that hasnt been unlocked imo.

Connor Robertson
Agreed but if you are getting rid of young talent due to budget to get 1 and done guys youre putting yourself behind the 8 ball.

Deandre Moore entering Transfer Portal
He will make a difference wherever he lands. Thanks fot your time on the 40.

Connor Robertson
With the all in theory i sure hope Texas is not mortaging future years for a 1 shot deal. Arch is great but we sure arent lacking for QB talent behind him either.

Favorite play of the year
48 yard run by Wisner against ATM to set the tone for the 2nd half

CJ Baxter
Rushing Name Q. Wisner RB C. Baxter RB J. Gibson RB C. Clark RB J. Simon RB There is your list by production... Gibson, Simon, Wisner likely gone...you have 2 coming in. Still minus 1 if that happens. Baxter has put it on the line and done everything he could to get back even though hes likely nowhere near 100%. Will he regain 100% of what he was?? 50 50 shot. Baxter would be the only back with substantial experience and hes likely to get better maybe even significantly so. It would be a very impatient approach to offload a back that could potentially be very productive, with no question about work ethic or how he fits with the team, and the only back with substantial experience. And if you gave me a shooter that only hit 20% but likely hits 50% the next year...you bet im keeping him around.

Notre Dame Opts Out Bowl Game
I hope Texas does not oot out for 1 reason and 1 eeason only. The extra practicws for the younger players and early enrollees will help development. As far as the CFP that committee should be laughed out of college football

CJ Baxter
Still averaged 3.6 pc and was the best pass blocker in the backfield. Def did not have the same explosive pop he had prior to injury, but he did get back on the field ahead of schedule. If his recovery continues at the rate it has so far I would not be suprised if he regains 80 to 90% of that back by week 1 of the 26 season. Just my humble opinion.

College Football Playoff Selection Show Thread
Well i def have no interest in rd 1 games...replays and trash....no clear reason or rhyme to selections. Even if they go to 16 teams, near future itll be 20 or more because there is no standard. Until they clarify and follow some clearly stated set of rules this will continue to be a cluster screw. This needs to be a transparent process with the abilty for removal of members for clear bias.

CBs injury usually takes a few years 2 or 3 to recover from if he recovers fully. It was a miracle he was able to play this season with any productivity. I would be very hesitant to short sell this young man imo. I would def give him 1 more year before making a decision either way. Multi-ligament injuries (PCL/LCL): Significantly longer, potentially over a year for high-level athletes, with lower rates of return to prior performance, especially for pivoting sports.
