My gut reaction is, I don't want Kiffin at OU.  But my logic tells me he wouldn't want that job since they can't play in NIL and recruiting is going to suck for them compared to being either at Florida or LSU.  And then off the field, who the hell wants to live in Norman, OK.

I'm a fan of Lane. That being said, it's an almost certainty that he is going to drop a game down the stretch to a team he shouldn't. Watch out for at Miss St. or South Carolina who are desperate for an SEC win.

I’m all for a good pantsing of OU but I listened to Venables’ post-game PC for the schadenfreude and did not hear him say that.

He's losing the Egg Bowl 100% but will make the CFP as an at large imo.  Hopefully Texas can win out and backdoor into the SEC title if that happens.

He has a little bit of that Pirate in him.

Lane has a little bit of that Pirate in him and I am here for every minute of it, especially when it comes at the expense of Mr. Burnt Vegetables Skeletor and his toothless band of meth heads.

Well, OU's season is still in front of them, we'll see how it plays out for them before we all fire Venables lol. Don't think Lanning would take the OU job but he would succeed there.
