His mom has Miami jersey on and his brother has a FSU shirt on— looks like it will be Florida. This is a weird livestream.

Should not be a surprise given what we’ve been reporting. Texas did not go deep into the well for this one, at least not right now.

The Longhorns are loaded at the position he wants to play... even though he enjoyed his visit, it's a long way to the top (AC/DC) if you want to be a TE at Texas. I liked his personality and I hoped he would commit to the Longhorns... but that shows (again) how times have changed. Now a young man has to consider how much $ is associated with each offer. So if there is a school he liked but their position room is loaded and their $ offer is not at the top... well, goodbye and thanks. Oh, well. Hook 'Em!

I read an article that implied that Heze Kent was going to be an offensive tackle for the UF.  Thought he was only considering schools that planned to let him play tight end.  Or was the money too great to pass up to be an OT at Florida?

Hell most fan can’t !

Good luck to Heze, great name that I won't forget when he sees the field in a couple of years.

I would  have liked to have him, but we have so much young talent at TE that we just couldn't go all in...at THIS point.

I think he's TE all the way.  Similar to what Charles Barkley would have been as a football player.  Strong, athletic and explosive.  IMO not a OL unless he has a Tony Hills type of injury.

Also few young recruits parents can understand the long term view.

Good get by Florida. Doubt he finishes his college career as a TE or plays pro as a TE.

Once we lost Ojo to TT, I wanted Heze Kent with the idea that he would move to OT after his redshirt year.
