For the second year in a row, Texas is in the winner's bracket of the Austin Regional, facing a team it lost to in a midweek game during the regular season. This year, it's Tarleton State, which beat the Longhorns 6-1 on March 17 at Disch-Falk Field.

Texas will send Dylan Volantis to the mound against the Texans, who will counter with 6-foot-9-inch, 240-pound RHP Ethan Wendel (6-3, 5.64 ERA).

The game will be streamed live on ESPN Plus.

The streak continues: Texas has scored in every inning of the regional so far. The Longhorns have also hit 10 home runs in 11 innings.

Yesterday was fun. Let’s do that again. @Jeff Howe Volantis is the best pitcher we’ve had since T26 and I’m well aware that we’ve had some first rounders since then.

We should be able to get after the pitcher they are starting. Hopefully the bats will stay hot. Of course with Dylan going i like where we are at.  Just got to go do it

Which pitcher did they use against us that held us to 1 run earlier in the season?

Eh there's only like 300 people at the game.  LA is a Dodgers town lol
