I just got this damage replacement back from Topps today.

Kon Knueppel Season Tipoff Gold Holofoil /50 from Topps Flagship. I pulled it out of a value box in October. It had a mangled corner, so I sent it in. Took way longer than the 10-14-week estimated time, but Topps took care of it.

lol if it was real you could buy this site and fire everybody. Sorry mods. You would have your own box to watch every home football game.

Pulled this a few weeks ago. I think it’s my 4th or 5th color blast I’ve pulled from Prizm Draft Picks.

Dallas show is this weekend.

All that stuff is so overpriced, man. Card shows used to be awesome, then COVID happened and private equity got into cards so everything is hyper inflated.

I’ve been insanely lucky with target mega boxes. I pulled a JJ McCarthy colorblast out of a blaster as well. Should have sold that but I held it and it’s just collecting dust at this point 😂

You can find good dealers there. There obviously are some idiots in the flip room. Over time I have met four or five guys I buy from.

I was a long-time collector cards of all things Houston and Longhorn. I remember my Dad taking us to card shows. One in particular I remember was in the Astrodome beneath the outfield seats. I still enjoy going to shows just to see cards that are out there, but mostly I enjoy taking the younger people in the family to them. I crack a lot of smiles watching the kids lose their minds with cards.

I stopped collecting cards in the early 2000s when we started having kids. But I had amassed a huge collection prior. During the pandemic I sold off my Rockets and Longhorn collections. But I still have my Astros and Texans-Oilers cards. I am having trouble (emotionally) letting those go. But I told my wife I am having trouble finding a buyer. She seems to believe me...or is pretending to believe thus far.
