Weird, Texas had a 2nd/3rd teamer come off the bench to HR against a Big12 team and help Texas win.

How about this Lefty pitcher? Think she would compliment Teagan....we do need a lefty.

Yeah I think she would be a great fit.  A quick trip up the road to Austin too.  A pitching staff of Kavan, Azua, Wells, and Doty would be one of the best in the game.

Getting close to Nervous time. Karlyn Pickens vs Teagan Kavan

sounds like a low-scoring game to me.

Don't forget about Bordi--the OU transfer sitting out this year

Whoever it is, we need someone that will take the burden off of Teagan being over used.

Gutierrez was good against ASU for multiple innings. They definitely need a Mac Morgan to step up for sure.

No worries it won't happen this year but Hannah has shown me her and Kavan can be a formidable tandem come next year🤘🏿

Swan is a native of Georgetown, Texas.  Immediate portal intel and community discussion point to that the Longhorns are viewed as a dream destination

Swan literally tormented them in the Super regional series. One of the only Arizona state players that really put the hurt on Texas. Would be funny and great to land her as an Atwood Replacement for Next season.

Driving to OKC now. Daughter is playing in tournament starting Friday so we had to make sure to be there for Thursday’s games. First time she will be able to watch the Horns live so it’s going to be pretty exciting.

I will probably need some tips and advice since it’s our first time. Haven’t even bought tickets yet!

Checked in on this —

Hearing Texas is expected be around in this one. Swan’s sister was just accepted to pre-law at Texas and obviously is from Georgetown. Her boyfriend lives up in the DFW area, so returning to the area is definitely top of mind.

There was some reluctance to how hard Texas would push given elite C prospect, Stevie South, arriving to campus in the fall. During her junior in 2025, South hit .535 batting average with a .639 on-base percentage and 122 total hits.

I do think Texas will at least be interested in this recruitment, but I was told the team early on to monitor in this one will be Baylor.

The transfer from Tech is like the 5th string pitcher, Texas does have former #1 recruit transfer from OU available next year (she had to sit out this year) as well as the stud pitcher recruit as well.

My guess is Salmon and Gonzales (Tech transfer) both transfer out.

Is this partly because of greater TV coverage compared to last year?  Just curious - I watched more this year than I did last year but it seemed easier to find games this year.

Pretty much, yeah. ESPN actually treated Supers like a real TV product this year. Way more games on ESPN/ESPN2 instead of ESPN+, better time slots, and way less channel‑hunting. When you make the games easier to find, the numbers jump - and i think that’s exactly what happened.”
