I would not be surprised to see 1 or 2 of our WR go in the portal. Sark continues to have a small rotation and as it is currently next years rotation is already likely set. Wingo, Mosely, Livingstone, McCutcheon.

  • You have my attention. Harkless recorded 3 sacks this season at 6-3, 345.  10 pressures from up the middle would have been tied for 2nd on this year's Texas DL.

  • There are some very firm prerequisites I would have for Texas in regards to portal targets this year: 1. Coming off of season-ending injury? Crossed off the list. 2. I want a seamless positi

  • My thing with A&M flirting with high dollar WR is pretty simple.  Until they get a quarterback that’s able to consistently complete 10 yard passes, none of their moves mean anything to me.

Got a feeling Ffrench is gone

Why does everyone think this?

Subtle things CJ has said plus just him seeing essentially no playing time while us returning pretty much every WR and looking for portal WRs on top of it. He'll probably want starter type play time next year and likely isn't getting it here.

While I agree that I think that Texas absolutely needs to add a WR (certainly that of the speed variety), I do think that the drops/missed throws kind of clouded that Wingo had a better season than people think. Texas just desperately needs players that can do more after the catch. IMO Wingo is the only guy right now that makes plays in space.

McCutcheon, Lockett and Ffrench.

No one is on the team next year until they are. Those guys didn’t come here for free and they won’t stay for free. We need to maximize our resources to built the best roster and culture we can for next year and hopefully it’ll be done in a way that is sustainable moving forward.

That would be a very disappointing rotation for next year. Mosley should be our chain moving #3 guy. If Wingo wants to prove it here at a reduced number and no guaranteed role, cool. Livingstone is a solid depth guy. We’ll see on McCutcheon. Gotta bring in some dawgs at WR, and preferably one of them has some twitch.

y’all need to take a second to double check who is tweeting this out before posting, there are people on this board that still think Ryan Williams and Caden Durham are in the portal lmao

Wingo needs to improve his hands but he is explosive once he catches the ball. Livingstone is a great #3 and will only improve. Mosley is a strong #2 and may see some time in the slot next year. Outside the portal for a proven #1, then we will have to see if Bishop can break the line up, or if Ffrench or Lockett can break the line up.

💯

Wingo needs to make more of the easy catches but let's not act like the dude doesn't make plays. Much like Arch, he needs to make more of the easy plays to go with his tough ones.
