SAN ANTONIO – Name a coach in the state of Texas and they are probably in San Antonio this week for the Texas High School Coaches Association convention. Name a coach coming off of a state championship and that list trims significantly. Texas has 10 official visits locked in for June The Texas Longhorns have 10 official visitors for June locked in with Buford (Ga.) High's Bryce Perry-Wright having been added to the June 13 list. The OnTexasFootball 4-star+ defensive lineman from the Peach State has been on campus prior, and received a school visit from Kenny Baker and Tashard Choice last week. One thing I know based off of the spring *** Quarterbacks Arch Manning – Texas' QB1 said he was "100%" and fully healthy during the final week of the spring. He will be a full go for the summer months. Texas freshman RB Christian Clark is indeed done for the season the school announced Tuesday afternoon. Clark went down with injury on Monday after leaping awkwardly. The school confirmed it was a torn Achilles and Clark will be sidelined for 2024. View full news story

Happy Monday. The 2024 College Football season inches closer Wednesday when the Longhorns return to the field for the first practice of fall camp. However, before we begin writing the story of the 2024 season, it is time for one last visit through the chapter of 2023 everyone would rather skip – the red zone. It was an issue for the Longhorns in 2023 and ironically, was a reason in which the season ended in the fashion that it did. Now it obviously isn’t just because of Manning, but the Longhorns have gone 33-13 in the four seasons that have passed since the commitment was made and Texas is 35-8 with Manning on the roster since 2023.
