  1. Yep, that’s why it’s so baffling to me that Hutson returning is seen as a good thing by so many. He can’t play and even if he’s just for depth, he’s bad depth. If you need to play your depth, play a player who can learn and get better, not someone who’s topped out as a bad player.
  2. I had subs to all the major Longhorns fans sites for a couple years. I wanted to compare and contrast to see which site is most accurate and has the best reporting. As you said, it ain’t even close. Most of all, the personalities of the mods on this board and YouTube is far far superior. Needless to say, I decided to not waste money anywhere else and I’m all OTF now! Welcome FBO!
  3. Sounds like the Justus Terry plan. Lay low and drop an enormous bag late in the game.
  4. How is NIL not decided by the schools? Who else decides it?
  5. Right! Per the CBA, the NFL has to pay a certain percentage of its revenue to the players (and teams have a minimum salary cap that they can’t go below) so when the league’s revenue increases, so does the player’s salaries. I find it interesting how the football leagues make billions, but still a certain faction of fans would prefer to see the players get paid little to nothing in comparison to those billions. 🤔
  6. “Avoiding losing Vasek to the portal shows his value”?? Was any team seriously coming after him to transfer? I love the talent, but what value does he have if he can’t stay on the field?
  7. I don’t consider Jonah as a Longhorns football player. He’s irrelevant to me as far as football is concerned. I’ve moved on from him mentally. We’d all be best served by doing the same.
  8. @Gerry Hamilton what do you know about the severity of his foot injury?
  9. Texas loves their young Olinemen…..
  10. Thank you @Rod Babers! You were the reason that I originally subscribed to OTF! You are simply the best at what you do and you are much appreciated! Only improvement I’d suggest is to rock the beard more often. You look like a high schooler with the half goatee… 😂 🤘🏾💪🏾
  11. I like Clark, but he doesn’t have the instincts or power to be in the two deep. And what happened to Simon?
  12. No he’s not. All in does not equal Connor Robertson in your starting lineup.
  13. He and Justice Haynes would be my preference. I think that’s a champion level duo.
  14. Can he bring Savion with him? @Gerry Hamilton
  15. Adapt or die. USC won’t be the last team you see do that. It’s marketing. Will it be stupid when Texas starts doing it? Because we will!
  16. The sooner college football fans realize this isn’t their daddy’s college football, the better we will be. There is no bad precedent set here, this is the new era of college football. Adapt or die!

  18. We were very active in the portal last year, just didn’t get many if any difference makers. Still 🤞🏾 for Mosley and Watson to be difference makers. Another year of volume c+ level players isn’t going to cut it.
  19. Seems like Sark has finally and wisely conceded the Cedric Baxter era and it’s way over due. Gonna be interesting to watch the remaking of the RB room moving forward. It has been a liability for two straight seasons.
