I will say, I saw someone doing game simulations for our schedule this year on youtube. You can watch them, they simulate the whole game. They've done up till week 10 vs Vanderbilt. I'm predicting 16-0, heisman winner. Don't make me take off my burnt orange glasses yet, okay? Lol. Realistically though, I could see us going 9-3 or 12-0. I think Gerry mentioned it earlier, the health of this team will determine how far they go. Otherwise I think our D can hold up against anyone, but will the O be of better help for them this year? Not go missing for large chunks of games? Will the special teams play be improved, as it's dropped off in the last couple of years? That's all stuff we need to see. I'd like to see Coach Banks getting after teams again on punts, etc. I do believe Boomauster will help with field position and maybe flip some of the fields for us, which will help our D more and let them pin their ears back and get after it. Hoping Shipley can be better with FG's, I've no idea what happened with Auburn in 2024 but we can't have that happen again. Edit: Forgot to mention how cool it was to see you guys all in the same video lol. Thought it would be more chaotic but it was actually really enjoyable.

It's fair to assume that, but his family doesn't want him to rush the NFL, they've said this before. They want him to start multiple years in college. We'll see what happens.

Pettijohn was a huge miss, but I think with Atinkinson in the '26 class, they more than made up for that. Both will be great players in college and likely in the NFL.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head there. If that does end up happening, it has us with McDonald and Taaffe as starting S's, until Williams is good enough to return. McDonald is too good to keep sitting on the sidelines. Either way the competition is healthy and pushes everyone to keep working hard. Was even talk of Taaffe coming down to play nickel, which would have us with Williams/McDonald at S.

What was impressive about the Burke play, is if he had missed, Broughton was right there in the backfield to stuff that lane. But yeah, that was another game that we made closer than it needed to be and probably closer than the final score indicated.
