Kickoff times for Ohio State, OU and A&M games among six finalized on 2025 schedule
I’m a big fan of CDC, but I wish he would spend just one afternoon in the upper decks of DKR in early September.

95 Days Until Kickoff… Who was your favorite?
We named a cat after Tubbs back in the day. He was a stout little Manx (the cat, that is). I think Tubbs' game-winning blocked FG in Manhattan, KS in 2002 (which we watched with the NYC Texas Exes) earned the cat his name.

Mack Brown is a Giant Crybaby Pt 337
The Saban stuff is a message board legend, hasn't @Gerry Hamilton said as much? "I knew a guy that worked in mortgages in 2013 that knew a tile sub-contractor that was dating Saban's wife's realtor's pool guy that said...."

Joel Klatt
I watch/listen to Klatt's reviews and previews during the season. Drew Kelson still has Klatt's soul in a briefcase somewhere.

Texas vs Clemson softball
I was worried we wouldn't have enough pitching to win a third game, congrats Texas Softball 🤘

Texas vs Clemson softball
I have no idea where pitching is going to come from tomorrow for either team. Live another day, Kavan seems to thrive on the worst pressure.

It’s Official - CFP formally approves new straight seeding for this season
well, I'm glad they got that out of the way before the season started?

We're in a crisis at SS.

SEC Baseball Tournament: No. 2 Texas vs. No. 21 Tennessee game thread
We strike out too much and weren't deep in pitching before the injuries. Winning the SEC in year one exceeds all expectations. Making it for the 39th time to CWS in year 1 will be whatever is beyond icing on a the cake.

Should Notre Dame Be Allowed To remain independent in College Football?
I don't see the issue with ND's scheduling and remaining independent? It's not like they lost to Northern Southern Illinois and made the National Championship or anything.

Did yall hear Earley today on TexAgs?
Just wanted to clarify, the TexAgs guy was antagonistic. Not the way you approach a long-term coach that you would think they would be trying to court favor.

Townsend Arrival
This thread made me think back to the 2005 National Championship season. There were several freshmen with no production in DI football, that figured heavily into that season - Jamaal Charles (878 yds rushing, 13 TDs), Henry Melton (432 yds rushing, 10 TDs), Ramonce Taylor (513 yds rushing, 265 yds receiving, 15 TDs), Quan Cosby (yeah, I know, he was 22 yo as a freshman, but still 270 yds receiving, 2 TDs) and those are just on offense. We don't win that NC without those first-year players.

Did yall hear Earley today on TexAgs?
I know @Blake Munroe said he was safe, but that antagonistic interview indicates otherwise.

Did yall hear Earley today on TexAgs?
I can't believe TexAgs has evolved into a legitimate media concern. I know I'll get dragged for this, but their sets and production are impressive.

Favorite games
Aggie and Arkansas. Two very similar games where we toyed with old SWC rivals that would give their season to beat us and then boringly snuffed them out in the fourth quarter.

Home team vs Visiting team???
This is a question for Craig Way.

Aggie Tears Thread
The #1 seed has been tossed at home by Jerry Falwell University.

Home team vs Visiting team???
My wife and I were discussing this today. I've been watching this post-season format for almost 30 years and I always assumed home teams just alternated "home" and "away" with each successive game, but I heard something on the UT softball radio broadcast today that indicated otherwise. @Jeff Howe, do you know?

Baseball: No. 3 Texas vs. Oklahoma game thread (Saturday)
What an inaugural run in the SEC. To think, the consensus a year ago was that we would be competitive in every sport other than baseball in our first season of SEC play.

If Flores doesn’t make this error…
My issue with Pierce last year is that he badly mismanaged the roster. There were key players that weren't healthy coming into the season and he knew, or should have known, that was a potential issue.

Baseball: No. 3 Texas vs. Oklahoma game thread (Saturday)
☮️ ...and if we this game isn't resumed, it will end in a 1-1 tie 😎 (It should resume, isolated cell that should pass, assuming it doesn't drop a tornado or something) Also, nice rig in the King of the Grill thread @bourbasted 🤘

Baseball: No. 3 Texas vs. Oklahoma game thread (Saturday)
Would love to know. The only thing I can think of is Skip was just trying to stall for a weather delay.

Baseball: No. 3 Texas vs. Oklahoma game thread (Saturday)
You should watch the games. It was 1-1 and we were about to squander another bases loaded opportunity.
