There is no reason to be doom and gloom. Im calling my shot, I think Texas ends up with Woods, Coleman and 2 proven starters on the O Line before the week is over. Just based on how Sark and Brandon Harris tried to money whip Chris Henry Jr right before signing day, I think that shows how aggressive they’re trying to be on getting a true WR1.

Might not be a grab for immediate playing time, but more of a tuck away and develop for this year and next year.

Sark isn't leaving Texas and I doubt Deboer leaves this cycle (despite how poorly I think the fit is with him at Bama). If Auburn hadn't fumbled the Iron Bowl away I think Deboer would be on the next flight out of Tuscaloosa to Penn State.

So the initial report was " Representatives of Steve Sarkisian have let NFL decision makers know he would be interested in head coaching opportunities" but that didn't come from Sark or Jimmy Sexton... So what representatives was she referencing. Also she in no way gave any context to the situation and just said most college coaches are interestedin the NFL. I've been back and forth on the report, but her response here just seems like she made it up.

That is a very fair and obvious assessment. I don't think the answer to that is recruiting "undersized" offensive linemen.

That might've worked in the Big12, but I'm not certain it will in the SEC with the talent on the defensive front in this league. Then again, I'm not a former pro offensive lineman😂

Wilfong is reporting that Texas is making it close, but I’ve yet to see any Texas insides report that.
