OnTexasFootball fully expects Texas to consider bringing LSU transfer NG Zion Williams on a visit.

The 6-foot-4, 350 pounder would be a developmental over the ball player.

Should Texas make a move on him, it would not affect Texas pursuit of Arkansas transfer Ian Geffrard or redshirt freshman Josiah Sharma.

In Will Muschamp’s defense, the size and depth over the ball is a requirement.

Didn’t he even sniff game reps at LSU? Feel like it might be a waste of cash if he was just a reserve on the bench.

Might not be a grab for immediate playing time, but more of a tuck away and develop for this year and next year.

If Texas makes a move ... would be a developmental 3rd NG

He redshirted at LSU

That's always been my main question

I think Muschamp will figure out if he wants it or if he doesn't lol

I guess if they take him they really believe in his ability. I just thought we were after players that actually made impacts at their previous school.

I had hoped we’d learned our lesson about Bo Davis’ half-assed evaluations, but I guess we need to be reminded.

I'm all for it if he does not require a big NIL expenditure.  With Brevard and Shaw out of eligibility, we are light on over the ball players even if we get Geffrard and keep Sharma.  Furthermore, we lost potential over the ball players in the 2026 class with the decommitments of Cleveland and C. Wells (although both had flexibility along the DL).

Or guys that have multiple years of eligibility left with raw talent and ability. If Muschamp can't bring it outta you, you don't want it.
