2022 OL class ended up underwhelming in a major way, and that's with a top 10 pick.

Athletic department solvency is least of our worries while the federal government is attacking higher education and research as a whole. The institutions themselves are under attack. There's bigger fish to fry out there versus potentially a few more tv dollars. Like worrying about a rash while you're bleeding out.

Nah. Not if you can't run the ball against a light box. Half your points were gifted by penalty.

Can't falt the OL for the 4th and 1. That play was telegraphed and they were totally out numbered inside.

I don't think their gameplan included having holes consistently created in the run game against their front 7.

Yes. I expect Georgia and perhaps Florida will be better along the lines of scrimmage than OSU was, but that should bode well against everyone else on our schedule.

I can't wait for Clark to be injected into the game plan too. Hopefully Baxter gets healthier and healthier too. The OL made me really excited. Perhaps OSU doesn't have a championship caliber DL this year, but that was still a great performance from our guys.

We were moving the ball great from the jump, and would've had balance of Arch could hit the easy throws. I also think the penalties killed our momentum. Like, Wingo false starting...what the hell? That was the difference in the game today. Every piece of field position we earned by out rushing and being more physical than OSU and having a hellacious punter, was thrown away by bizarre untimely penalties.

Our QB had a really bad game. You can't game plan around that.

None of those teams were going through massive roster rebuilds. We've also had some sh!t injury luck in regards to our draft picks and weapons late in the postseason. It's pretty meaningless.

No it wasn't. The QB couldnt hit wide open receivers and we ran the ball well. Should've had excellent balance. It's on Arch, not Sark.

He and Wisner were pretty effective all game. Plus, Baxter is by far the best in pass pro. He stoned a rush from what I can recall in the game. I think Sark is always conservative with personnel early in season. I think Clark will get acclimated against the G5 schedule.

I can't wait to see Christian Clark play too. Also, Graceson Littleton was outstanding. He looked like one of the best players on the field as a true freshman. He definitely has the advertised quickness.

We can actually run the ball between the tackles this year. We made holes consistently. 5 yoc for Wisner and 4 for Baxter who is clearly not fully healthy yet. If the QB can start hitting the broad side of a barn, we will be dangerous. If this is Arch's worst game after finally showing some life in that 4th quarter, I'll take it. Never felt this good after a loss. I mean, we were flat out better on the line of scrimmage against the defending champs. It's not a bad place to start. Also, NO major injuries. The noncon games are glorified scrimmages. Especially game 1, I don't think it will be held against us much when it comes to CFP seeding. Just need to get it done in the Swamp and go win the SEC.

Unbelievable you can lose a game running for 4.5 ypc and holding the other team to 2.3 ypc. Man, after practice reports, this OL is in a much better place than we were lead to believe. Pass pro was frequently pretty good too. Once Manning settles down, we are going to be dangerous. I can't wait for Baxter to get healthier too. If he gets his one cut ability back, we are going to be tough. Hopefully Mosely isn't out too long because I'm keen to see him be reliable guy finding gaps in zone for Arch.

His highlights from last year show an inaccurate passer. If he plays for any amount of time this year, we are screwed. I don't care what practice reports we get about him.
