What is the experimental change they implemented?

Christian Alliegro update (6:55pm CT)
It happened. He is still close with quite a few people over there and liked coaching Alliegro.

Christian Alliegro update (6:55pm CT)
Fickell put in a good word for Ohio State as Alliegro was walking out the door. This would be an impressive win for the good guys if we pulled it off.

Portal of Possibilities
Thank you Brunner and your agency for at least letting us know right away instead of making this a 4-5 day process where he ends up where he wanted to go the entire time.

Key note (7:20pm CT)
Not sure if you’ve noticed but college football has changed just a tad the last 3 years since he said that.

Portal of Possibilities
Does playing with Arch Manning mean anything to Emaree Winston and James Simon if they are third team?

Portal of Possibilities
CJ Baxter made more money in 3 years here than some will make in a lifetime. And he contributed in 1 of the years.

Portal of Possibilities
I bet 3/4ths of this board would be surprised to know Oklahoma has had way more portal departures than Texas has.

2025-26 Portal Tracker Thread
I can not think of a worse way to operate as a GM than this logic.

2025-26 Portal Tracker Thread
You need more than 1 quality WR on a team. Suggesting we dump all the receivers we have to bring in Cam Coleman is dumb and nothing can be said to convince me otherwise.

Thank goodness you are not the GM of this team

Well if you bring in Cam Coleman, be prepared for shortcuts to be taken elsewhere. Again, Texas is not working with an endless budget.

2025-26 Portal Tracker Thread
You don’t seem to understand how this works. We have about 3-4 other needs I would rank above “pay insane money for a receiver”. Being “all-in” is ensuring all holes are filled. Blowing a wad on Cam Coleman at the expense of not fixing the OL or LB or secondary is actually the opposite of all-in. The money tree isn’t endless.

Was graded as one of the worst P4 centers in the country.

Another Home and Home Cancelled
The 9th conference game should balance out the schedules and give everyone in the SEC more than enough in the strength of schedule department. This was also a weird year with the number of 10-2 teams. There were a lot of them.

Jalen Lott Has Signed With Oregon (Thurs 6:07 PM)
There is no cap. Those operating in the blurred lines are at an advantage, for now.

Vodney Cleveland ...
For UNC? Definitely!

What is the worst job in P4 Football?
Neither is serious about football, hence why they now play in the 2-team Pac12 while other schools went to power conferences.

What is the worst job in P4 Football?
I guess they aren’t technically P4 anymore but Oregon State and Washington State would be up there.

Will Texas Spend Big in the Portal?
We are returning difference makers at QB and pass rusher, and that is about half the battle in college football. This roster is not as bad as some try to make it out to be. And returning players are allowed to get better. Did anyone have Parker Livingstone, Brandon Baker, Ethan Burke and Alex January being plus players on this team a year ago? We have holes to fill but I’m not sure I would classify it as “major overhaul”.

Who hires Chip Kelly in CFB?
Day took back over playcalling in the playoffs last year.

Who hires Chip Kelly in CFB?
Drama seems to follow him around and he doesn't appear to be the most pleasant guy to work or play for.

Apologies
He’s back under a different username. Doesn’t take long to figure out.

Sark's best qualities....
He beats pretty much everyone not named Ohio State or Georgia over the last 2-3 years. That is a pretty nice quality to have. He faces the same thing every other coach in the SEC and Big Ten face in trying to catch those two programs. You'd rather it be that way than continually losing to teams you shouldn't be losing to.
