Come on, you knew he was going to give a coachspeak answer on that 5 days into camp.

Live thread: Sark speaks to media after practice No. 5
Someone let him know that some posters on here haven't slept in 2 days as they debate whether a pass in practice was tipped.

Back in the day, Coach Brown allowed fans to go to practice...
Some coaches like the fully open practices because it prevents those who cover the program from having to go to sourcing inside the program to get details of what is going on. The game of telephone can be a dangerous one and stuff can get lost in translation. Others hate it because they think it could give another school an advantage to know everything going on in practice. I see both sides of the argument.

Brooks Austin: Texas Failed Arch lasts. Rips Flood & OL.
Some of y’all must like to revisit every ounce of pain. Please give us real football soon.

Brooks Austin: Texas Failed Arch lasts. Rips Flood & OL.
Assignment soundness didn't seem to be a concern in the previous 3 years with a more veteran line, which we have again this year. Perhaps it was a one-off. We will find out.

Brooks Austin: Texas Failed Arch lasts. Rips Flood & OL.
Interesting video title when one of the first clips he shows is Arch missing Wingo from 5 yards away from a perfectly clean pocket and he talks for 2 minutes about how many easy throws Arch missed the whole season. But I guess the title "Arch had his own struggles and Texas failed to support him at times" doesn't quite get the clicks that "TEXAS FAILED ARCH" does.

Three things to consider regarding Laurence Seymore and Texas' left guard competition
Depth doesn’t change the equation? The whole point of depth is having more quality options at your disposal to solve problems so you aren’t having to start Connor Stroh when another guy shows he isn’t ready. The addition of Seymore and Sikorski, a healthy Cojoe, another year of development from Coleman, a blue chip HS OL in Turntine…all factor into the equation of improving LG, wherever directly or indirectly. Seymore is not the only option and it would be malpractice if he was.

Three things to consider regarding Laurence Seymore and Texas' left guard competition
These posts always make me laugh. Suggesting that we just play a guy for optics even if he is beaten out. Sarkisian and Flood aren’t the first football coaches to ever make a poor personnel decision. It happens. Last year, we went into camp with 3 offensive lineman who had ever started a college game. This year, we have 7. That is night and day difference and will allow true competition to run its course.

BASEBALL BOOM: Texas hooks All-Conference portal outfielder | Tuesdays 12:00 PM
You would have thought we had the 100th ranked class based on some of the comments here over the last two months. And we ended up with a higher ranked class than last year (15th).

Tre Wisner take
Water eventually finds its level. If he was as good as some made him out to be, he wouldn’t be at Florida State. Sounds harsh, but it’s true.

What if Casey Thompson never hurt his thumb
Players have hot stretches all the time. The game will tell you know you are. Water finds its level. He transferred 3 times and went to a worse spot each time.

What if Casey Thompson never hurt his thumb
He got a bad wrap because he wasn’t ever a good player. He ended his career as the third string QB at Oklahoma.

THSCA Live Thread — Day Two Starts Now
Great guy. Tough that he took a job where it’s almost impossible to win and it will probably be his last year. But he should get a nice P4 position coach job and is only 36 so plenty of time to work his way back up.

But some try to say the talent isn’t good enough on this team.- Baseball portal is open
Such huge upside that LSU, the team you’ve drooled over for weeks and rarely loses anyone they want to keep, let him walk out the door.- Baseball portal is open
If Georgia is so stacked and has so few holes, why are they taking dudes like Jason Flores? Or Marcos Paz and his 9 ERA with the hopes he can be a weekend starter? You would have flipped out if this site reported our Sunday starter next year was a dude who had a 9 ERA this year and you would have talked about how the staff didn’t do enough to upgrade. But when Georgia does it, it’s okay? Quite the double standard.- Baseball portal is open
It's pretty funny how scared you get anytime someone announces for another school not named Texas and the conspriacy theories you come up with. Should we have gone after players who weren't as talented so that we don't have as many "misses" and you could feel better? The competition for good players is intense. Sorry, we aren't going to bat 1.000. We beat Georgia for Ian Armstrong. We beat Tennessee and LSU for Sawyer Solitaria. We beat South Carolina for Gavin King. But feel free to keep worrying.- CBS: College Football win total regression candidates in 2026 ... Texas A&M, OU and Ole Miss mentioned
It's not the results, per se, it's the sheer number of one-possession games. Texas went 3-2 last season in one score games . Ole Miss went 6-2. Playing 8 one possession games in a 15 game season and having that good of a record means you got a bit lucky.- CBS: College Football win total regression candidates in 2026 ... Texas A&M, OU and Ole Miss mentioned
Ole Miss had a 6-2 record in one-possession games last year, including one-possession wins against Arkansas and Washington State. Typically playing that many one score games and having that good of a record means regression is coming.- Ethan Mendoza Returns | Monday 8:00 PM
Dude the guys are listed numerically by position.- 2026 MLB Draft Thread | Sunday 8 p.m.
Did Mendoza actually fall? I didn’t see a single draft publication that had him as a top 300-400 player. He was always going to be a borderline draft pick in general. I think it’s pretty obvious based on the reporting here that he prefers to not keep playing college baseball. I don’t agree with it but oh well.- 2026 MLB Draft Thread | Sunday 8 p.m.
I don’t think he was expected to be a top 10 round guy. I don’t think I’ve seen him on any type of draft list. He must really be eager to start his pro career.- 2026 MLB Draft Thread | Sunday 8 p.m.
And even they lost a handful of guys today. - Baseball portal is open
