  1. Wow. You not only need to learn how to quote, but you also need to do better reading other's minds. What animosity do I have? None. The only animosity here is being demonstrated by you. I guess it ruined your Caden Sterns fan club membership. I simply wrote facts. How do you know I don't know? You would be wrong. Do your own research. This site is not old enough to go back to that time period. Are you member of other sites? If so, go there. It's there. It's not hidden. Or ask the mods on this site. They know. Not sure what you are communicating with your pontification of sports. Competition has taught me the same lesson (among others) you indicate to have learned. Competition doesn't care about politics. But you continue to be confused about what you are reading. There are no politics in my prior writing. Just facts.
  2. It would imply that it happened...and why would it matter "who?" And my response is to also suggest there is no comprehensive list of "who" it happened to. But it happened. Sorry if that disappoints you. Actually, I'm not sorry. Was just trying to be nice.
  3. Do you know how to quote? Or do you just like to make up quotes? Why are you getting a rash over this? It happened. You don't have to like people remembering it happened, but it happened.
  4. Who didn't he not tell to not come to UT? Have no idea how deep the Eyes issue was on that team...but the leader and one of the most vocal of the anti-Eyes on the team was Sterns and/or Eagles. If I am wrong, I'll stand corrected.
  5. Always liked this guy and enjoyed watching him after he transferred out. He was fun to watch.
  6. Not to be "that" guy...but can we hope whatever he does next, it doesn't involve actively telling recruits to "not" come to UT like he did when was on the team? Or can we hope he doesn't start another locker room movement to end the singing of the Eyes of Texas? Or was Brennan Eagles the leader of that? I wish nothing but the best for him, but he didn't exactly enamor himself as a Lifetime Longhorn during his time on the 40 in my eyes. Easy to forgive idiocy...because we were all idiots when we were young. But not sure I can forget it all...
  7. Agree. It's the school that was at the beginnings of Johnny Majors and Earle Bruce's careers. MC is also the all-time winningest coach in that school's history. He may not win a national championship, but if he stays at ISU and wins a conference championship or somehow gets into the playoffs, he might have a statue of himself on that campus someday.
  8. I don't think the window has completely closed and if it has, I believe it could open again for him...unless their program takes a nosedive or he pulls a Tom Herman. Let's say Cignetti leaves. I can see MC being a candidate at IU. I could see him as a candidate for Wisky if they decide to make a change. I see him more as a fit as a Big Ten coach. I don't see him fitting at an SEC school as much, except maybe Mizzou and OU. And maybe Kentucky. Maybe South Carolina.
  9. Agree. Did you see the Bama gym? It looks like they were playing on a high school gymnasium. SMU has a nice facility.
  10. They've put lots of guys in the NFL under his term. They are annually a top 25 team. They beat Iowa and beat ranked teams from time-to-time. I like the way their staff coaches and I like their culture...even if it did ruffle our feathers (the truth hurts sometimes). What does whether or not he stays at ISU or whether or not he receives/accepts an offer from other schools have to do with me disagreeing with you calling him a jag?
  11. Disagree. I like Campbell a lot. I would send my son to play for him.
  12. Depending on point of view, this could be good...or it could be bad...or some of both...
  13. The LB crashed himself into the inside (not sure why, unless it was kind of delayed stunt), but that definitely gave Goosy the leverage to just road grade leaving the entire left side open for Arch to make another hard angle pass.
  14. The chip block putting the DL on one knee was huge to this play. IMO, the key to play being successful...along with Arch's ability to make that difficult pass angle.
  15. the time-out clap was spot on...nice work...
  16. I didn’t know. Not sure how I got it in my head Neuheisal Junior was the IHC. Thanks for setting me straight
  17. Any chance UCLA takes interim tag off of Neuheisal?
  18. Why would Adidas want this move?
  19. Didn’t he commit like 3 years ago?
  20. Didnt he commit like 3 years ago?
