This is probably not a bad idea. Arch executed that offense when Quin was hurt and did alright. I don't know how much different Sarurdays game plan was than when Arch replaced Quin but Arch didn't look comfortable Saturday.

Good point, it's one thing to play in those games and another to win them. We should be in a lot of those games and we need to get in the habit of winning them.

I keep hearing that it takes 12 months for an acl, I believe it has been 12 months since he was injured in last years camp? You're saying the additional injuries to the knee will prolong the usual 12 months for just an acl?

Occasionally I would see Steve Worster at Sholtz Garden before games, he always seemed happy and would acknowledge a hello. The thing that always struck me was he was not as big as I thought he was. A true Texas legend.

I remember the OU game Simmons had against OU. My memories are clouded on what went on with the broadcast of that game. I was living in Arlington at that time and for some reason the Texas OU game was not on TV there. However, one of the hotels at DFW airport picked up on that and some how had a broadcast of the game. When I got word of that I immediately made a reservation and wife and I went to the hotel, don't recall which one, but it was full of Longhorns. Sure enough hey had the game on TV in the rooms. Great game and fun in the bar after the game.

I’m thinking along these lines. I for sure think Arch can throw for 4k, but I don’t think he will have to. I’m bullish on our O’line and run game this year.

The thing is the HI's are probably right at the time they are made, but nothing is final until it's final. Some people get excited about them some don't. For me I like to read the news, but predictions really not very interesting to me. A top 3 and maybe a heavy lean is enough and those may not be very accurate.
