File this for future reference if Texas vs Oregon. Dan Lanning plays Dirty
I didn’t see this either, but my guess is because it’s a live ball penalty, time ticks off the clock. The assumption is that they stop the offense on that play. The offense gets 5 yards, but lose precious time which is more valuable in that situation.

College Football Playoff hopefuls thread
This years champion is going to be one that has the least amount of major injuries and a ton of depth. It’s too long and too many chances to get hurt.

Texas Women’s Volleyball
Kentucky has owned volleyball in the SEC without much competition. They are probably not too excited to have Texas come into the conference because they are now 2nd fiddle lol

I think is Oregon 2 since they were 3 and just took out 2.

Ohio st has legit nfl players up and down their lineup, they are dangerous kind of like Washington last year. If it all clicks they would be hard to beat.

Why do Colorado’s players look so small compared to Kstate? They might just get run over all game.

How bad do ou fans wish Dillon Gabriel was still their QB lol

Is Johntay Cook hurt or in Sark’s doghouse?
Ou's giving up the run and playing soft coverage so not many passes when you add in Quinn's not been very accurate today as well. Light box, take the yards via runs and move on to the next game.

Charlie Strong really misused Heard. I think he could have been really good if used properly.

Texas' success against permanent rivals
Asked copilot and it said the only Texas QB to have ever beaten ou, arkansas, and atm in the same season is James Street. Quinn has an opportunity to be the in exclusive company! On another note, he may not be revered like his brother, but Case McCoy did beat ou and atm in the same season in 2012.

Texas better win the championship if they have 5 first rounders drafted.

Big Ten and SEC to talk scheduling partnership
On the flip side, Ohio State would have to start playing real out of conference matches instead of patty cakes. Additionally, there's likely some sort of human factor involved I'd reckon that would help to create the storylines, otherwise, you are correct in that some teams will have an easier schedule than others. Kind of like this year where it's looking like Texas' SEC schedule is easier to navigate than Bama or Georgia's, and for sure Florida's.

Bama vs Georgia
Ryan Williams is so elite, Texas had a small chance to snag him, imagine this offense with the Ryans (Wingo and Williams) with Arch tossing the football, that would give DCs nightmares. Alas he decided to stick with Bama.

Fasusi thought process question
I’m not a scout and don’t pretend to be so anyone who’s knowledgeable please weigh in. Understand that Fasusi wants early playing time, but from a scout’s point of view, would it be better to: 1: start early on the ou oline that’s terrible and known for being terrible (at the moment) and if it does not improve does not make you look as good (your teammates help make you look good or bad imo - a good QB makes a receiver look better and vice versa) 2: compete and when you earn playing time on the Texas oline that’s considered one of the best (with one of the games best coaches) My logic tells me scenario 2 but want to make sure I’m not looking at it with a bias point of view.

And yet he was the starting QB for Texas when he was here, tells you how bad the roster was before Sark could rebuild it.

OU Tears Thread
Kind of like in the Waterboy movie. Force ou's offense to do something while reducing the risk to his offensive players because ou has a good defense.
