Nico & Tennessee…
If that Alabama rumor is true, I hope he ends up there. Will be more a cancer than help to that program.

Nico & Tennessee…
Like CJ said, it's not like he lit the world on fire last year. He was pretty f'ing terrible in a number of games. Such entitlement. And I imagine his O-line wouldn't be all too excited to block for him if he comes back to the team.

NCAA Transfer Portal Entrant Thread (Thursday AM)
Leavitt single handedly kept ASU in the game imo. You also have to consider the talent around him - he was down his 1st receiver, his RB was throwing up, and his O-line was a subpar big 12 group. Put him behind that Georgia O-line with the weapons they have and he's going to be really dangerous.

Texas Volleyball 2025 SEC Schedule Announced
To me it was a disappointment in that Coach Eilliott said that was the deepest team he's ever fielded. Though most volleyball pundits would argue the team that won the natty led by Eggleston, O'Neal, and Skinner would have been the deepest squad he's ever had. Melanie Parra was a subbing specialist on that team, that's how deep that team was.

Rori Harmon coming back!!!
And the lone Texas win was on home court and squeaked it out in the final seconds. The SC wins were all over by mid 4th quarter at the latest. Reminds me of Aston's teams against Mulkey's Baylor Bears for years.

Concession pricing at the Disch
CDC is masterful at this - there are price points for all levels. If you just want family time and not break the bank, there are options. If you have extra money and don't mind spending it, there are also options.

Rori Harmon coming back!!!
And if she could also get a shot, or if she's got it, be more confident in taking it because SC just basically dared her to shoot every time they played. Her ability to drive is strong, but when they back off, it negates her effectiveness.

Texas Guard Jordana Codio Plans To Transfer
Wasn't Boutlier a transfer in? She just never saw the court and assuming Justice Carlton and Kyla Oldacre return, they are the bigs next year.

Final Four: Texas vs. South Carolina Game Thread
Not having A Moore hurt, she’s an inside presence. Last two years season ending injuries, dunno if her career is done for at this point.

Final Four: Texas vs. South Carolina Game Thread
Not to make excuses, but to be fair to Vic, two of his planned scoring threats for this year both went down with season ending injuries. A Moore two years in a row didn’t play the post season.

Need Ideas ...
Sounds like you and Kyle Umlang should get together. That guy can crunch some crazy numbers (to the aggie's detriment). I'm sure you guys would go far down some rabbit holes in stats.

Wonder why Helm didn't run, it couldn't have been any worse than the combine time.

***Aaliyah Chavez Announcement Thread*** — Chavez chooses Oklahoma
I love AI, it makes research so easy. Just being the #1 player overall doesn't guarantee anything, especially after the UCONN dynasty run ended. If Vic can get a dynamic outside threat, I still trust him to eventually get a ship. Year Player School Signed With NCAA Championship Won? 2015 Katie Lou Samuelson UConn Yes (2016) 2016 Lauren Cox Baylor Yes (2019) 2017 Megan Walker UConn No 2018 Christyn Williams UConn No 2019 Haley Jones Stanford Yes (2021) 2020 Paige Bueckers UConn No (as of March 2025) 2021 Azzi Fudd UConn No (as of March 2025) 2022 Janiah Barker Texas A&M No (as of March 2025) 2023 JuJu Watkins USC No (as of March 2025) 2024 Sarah Strong UConn TBD (career ongoing)

***Aaliyah Chavez Announcement Thread*** — Chavez chooses Oklahoma
I didn't watch, but this could be a plethora of things that we don't know. Was it the crowd's reaction? Did they want Texas to match ou's offer (of whatever outside of style of play, maybe even that) and Vic said no thanks so they were forced to pick ou? We'll likely never find out, but time to move on. I was going to post earlier - 1 player does not make or break a team, though it certainly helps to have elite talent. Kevin Durant was elite talent for Texas and they did not win the national title, didn't even come close.

The unicorn of championships potential - fun with AI
I thought it would be fun to use AI to do a little research on historical championship trifectas and see who would be the closest to achieving it. If CDC had his way, he'd go into the history books as the AD to have done it first. I'm talking about winning a championship in each of the 3 major sports for men's and women's - Football, Volleyball, Basketball(s), Baseball, and Softball. Only UCLA has won one in every sport, but no school has ever done it in the same year (obviously because it's insanely difficult). I asked AI which school would have the highest chance currently -

Recruiting Visuals
This is really nice. You can easily see why Texas was interested in going to the SEC and why Sark has decided to focus on TX, GA, and FL for recruiting.

Women's Basketball: No. 1 Texas heads into the SEC Tournament led by the conference's player, coach of the year
Looks like Staley made adjustments from the game in Austin. Advantage right now swings back to Vic as if they meet again in the tournament Vic will be the one unveiling something new. Though the two wins for Staley has been blowouts and Vic squeaked out a victory at home. The stars for Texas need to show up and be stars. SC's stars showed out.

Women's Basketball: No. 1 Texas heads into the SEC Tournament led by the conference's player, coach of the year
If Holle or Jordan Lee aren’t hitting shots, Texas has no long range threats. The opponents then just clog up the lane and womp womp. Really need some deep threats next year with Holle graduating.

Women's Basketball: No. 1 Texas heads into the SEC Tournament led by the conference's player, coach of the year
Odd that Texas isn't projected the overall #1 seed even though they're currently ranked #1.

Clips from OU spring practice
I disagree, Arch is a new starter, but he's essentially a redshirt sophomore in year 3 of the system. He'll make some mistakes, but he should be able to play at a fairly high level as well. The rest of the team is fairly reloaded (less experience on the o-line for sure) so Texas should be able to compete.
