Skinner hit .690 tonight!
Subtract hitting errors from kills divide the result by swings. Anything better that .330 is a pretty good day for an outside hitter. MBs, who get fewer chances, tend to hit around .400+ on good nights. .690 for an outside hitter in volleyball is akin to hitting .750 with 3 extra base hits.

Skinner hit .690 tonight!
22 kills, 1 error, in 29 swings. Incredible. And I missed it because I was getting a brief out. Damn. Texas torched OU in straight sets 14, 15, 19, avenging the earlier loss in Austin. Kahahawai played a point or two. Swindle missed her gazillionth straight match. Still don't know what the deal is there.

Rumors of Quinn's return
I love my life. Getting to make fun of dumb threads is part, albeit a very small part, of why I love it.

Tramon Mark update (Tuesday 1:05pm CST)
I had a roommate in Austin while I was in law school who left to enter the CIA. The Culinary Institute of America.

Tramon Mark update (Tuesday 1:05pm CST)
Yep. P5 and not expected to challenge for bubble status. But not in the category of MVSU or Chicago State, so a definite step up in level of competition. Eddie Lampkin is a load in the middle.

Texas officially announces ND Games
So much for ND not being motivated to schedule high profile games.

Tramon Mark update (Tuesday 1:05pm CST)
Syracuse is a good stepping stone to better competition without us facing a really strong opponent in our first game with Mark. Syracuse is undefeated, but it won at home by only 2 over Colgate and needed 2 OT to beat Youngstown State.

Metal pieces fall from Dallas Cowboy stadium roof
Every Boycow game should feature at least 100 close-ups of Jerry Jones.

Metal pieces fall from Dallas Cowboy stadium roof
Gotta love how 4 personal fouls on one team and one 1 personal foul on the other team "offset."

Metal pieces fall from Dallas Cowboy stadium roof
Rush stripped, an offensive lineman catches the ball and gets stripped, and Texan DL takes it for the score and the 17 point lead in the fourth quarter. Since the Giants benched Daniel Jones, do the Cowboys have a hope for not going winless at home this year?

If you thought Chicago State was bad
Drive, but contested shot goes off the front of the rim. Wisky rebounds and will survive. Badgers make a pair, and UTRGV long range bomb misses. Nice try, Vaqueros, in a game Pomeroy said you would lose by 21. This is the sort of loss that gains a team 30 spots in NET rankings. UTRGV has gone to Nebraska, Creighton, and Wisconsin and been in the game in the last 5 minutes in every one of them. Wisky had to shoot 85% from the line (27/32) to win this game.

If you thought Chicago State was bad
UTRGV got a stop and has the ball down one with a chance to take the last shot.

If you thought Chicago State was bad
A follow up on my comment about UTRGV. It is down 2 to Wisky in Madison with 1:14 to go, and Wisky shooting its 30 something free throw to make it a 4 point game. That is the #19 Badgers. UTRGV just hit a three to make it a one point game in the final minute. Kahil Fennell is a witch of a coach.

Possible conference champion hilarity
Definitely rooting for Kansas this week. In football, that is.

College Football Playoff: Six SEC teams for four spots
Incentive or no, they have scheduled plenty of games to be played over the next few years against USC, Miami, A&M, Clemson, Alabama, Michigan, Florida, and Florida State. While the bulk of the ACC teams aren't great, ND appears to be scheduling 9 games against P4 schools every year. I think their incentive is to have games that bring in eyeballs and $.

College Football Week 12 Thread
Horrible 3rd and 6 play by Tennessee forces them to try to make it on fourth down, but a procedure makes it 4th and 11. Punt.

College Football Week 12 Thread
Boy, I don't know about going for it on 4th and 9 at your own 26 when you have three timeouts left.

College Football Week 12 Thread
I hope Wisky pulls this off, but it deserves to lose if it has a delay of game on its first play after a touchback on a kidkoff return.

A chop block called against Wisconsin when the back hit the d-lineman above the waist? Lame. And maybe gave the game to Oregon.

Wasn't Beck still in the pocket when he threw the ball through the goal posts? Should have been intentional grounding.

I never thought any such thing. But here is hoping next week will be a lot more like last week than like this week.

Too close for comfort, but a win is a win is a win is a win. Being in Fayetteville makes it all the better.

Stands to reason since we throw behind the line of scrimmage so often.

Horrible deep throw followed by Ewers making a great wait for the screen to set up.
