  1. His path is: starter
  2. We see both OSUs QBs in game one…and not because they’re comfortably ahead. Sayin will start but be pulled in the 3rd quarter to try and jumpstart the offense
  3. I do think the front 7 is as talented of a front 7 as I’ve ever seen at Texas. Questions remain at DB for me but I’m definitely hopeful Taaffe and the coaches get those guys ready to play.
  4. Texas is already using Florida as motivation in the offseason. This game won’t be overlooked I guarantee it.
  5. Hope we get some nice nuggets to analyze and discuss. There’s always some players that have improved and caught the coaches’ eyes.
  6. I just don’t think we have enough $$ earmarked for this spot to lure him away.
  7. This would be a massive get. I like him a ton as a prospect, fantastic floor and ceiling, and hope he chooses Texas!
  8. This doesn’t make me any more excited…because I was already a 10/10 on my excitement meter for Mr Dia Bell! I think he is as talented as Arch! The program is in great hands. All the consternation about losing a few recruits lately and I shrug and think “we nailed our QB eval and have the best QB prospect in the nation committed. That’s a heck of a floor”
  9. This guy has a higher ceiling than most give him credit for. Big season loading
  10. Hope they surprise me, but I’m expecting a relatively comfortable loss
  11. Shocking to me that a portal RB doesn’t seem to be a priority. Fingers crossed!
  12. Going to have to tip my hat to Terry and the staff as well as the players. I wrote them off but they’ve proven more resilient than I anticipated. We look like a tourney team now, let’s hope they make it!
  13. Per Inside Texas Livingstone is doing very well behind the scenes and was close to breaking through to playing on the field this season. They also report that he is super fast. Manning has a legit connection with Wingo and Moore. You could see it when he played. Most his second team reps were with Wingo back in the spring and summer and it showed. I think both those guys have good years, and Wingo has a monster season
  14. Add to that, everything I’ve read has said that Livingstone has legit, legit speed. Butler is also quick twitched. Freshman…we shall see. Wingo is far, far from slow. That’s a big, fast dude
  15. Dang impressive. Cant wait to watch these guys play. Are you high on any of our prospects outside the top 300?
  16. Bad play call plain and simple. I’m ok with a toss sweep if it’s a misdirection play or even to the wide side with Blue. That play was doomed from the start
  17. Seems obvious. Let’s hope they do it. I’d love to see more slants and crossers and digs
  18. We play our A or B game we win. We need to focus on our execution, cleaning up the penalties, playing with good awareness of game context, etc and we win this game by 10+.
  19. Two possibilities: 1) Quinn’s injury led to him playing poorly against OU, Georgia, and Vandy (due to physical and mental components) 2) The first 3 games were fake news and Quinn actually hadn’t improved, as evidenced by the OU, Georgia, and Vandy games. I know which one seems more plausible to my eyes.
  20. 38-24 has been my prediction all week and I’m sticking to it. Furthermore I think it’ll be 38-17 and they get a garbage time TD to make themselves feel better
  21. Texas 38 Other team 24 Hawkins proves to be a thorn in our side until figure him out. They grab early momentum but our quality takes over in the second half.
  22. Interesting comment about getting the DL straight. Assume he means they finally got the EDGE component down. Very interesting comment
  23. Semantics, but I think Cam is supposed to be a very good. I like Juan Davis to surprise as well. And give me DeAndre Moore too on offense.
  24. Loved those quotes! Man some of the best I’ve heard from recruits watching a practice. Seems that everyone was locked in, recruits included
