Shaduer is NOT better than quinn and is a HUGE reach for the first round. I felt the same way about JJ McCarthy this past year going in the first round.

Here’s another stat:

Only 8 of 32 are transfer portal guys. There were 9 in 2024.

Sorry misread that

Weigman in the first round strains credulity, but that doesn’t preclude some dumb NFL exec from actually making that pick.

Weigman is very talented IMO. His issue is health.

This years qb class definitely not close to last years class

Riley Leonard is going to fly up draft boards this year as long as he performs this year against better comp. I think he goes 1-1!

Shaduer number 2 is laughable. Weigman - well we’ll have to see if he completes the season.

I don’t buy sheduer being better at ANYTHING. (Including rapping) than Quinn

I agree, but is one healthy year enough to vault him into the first round?

Exactly, how is he getting graded so high? He's played in 9 games... I don't get it.

You have to let it play out, there will be guys that have a great year and jump into the 1st round. Just like this last group.

Yes, he'll actually need to play in meaningful conference games to really know where he stands. Some trash OOC games are doing a lot of heavy lifting for his stats so far.

That said, Ewers will need another big leap this year to get drafted in the 1st round IMO.

Sanders and Weigman - lost all credibility with those picks.  I'll take Leonard over both of them.

Maybe the author thought he was mocking the MLB draft?

I see I’m in the vast minority here but I will say this; Quinn will have to prove he’s better than Shedeur this year. Quinn is on a better team, in a better system, with better weapons. Shedeur is really talented & played extremely well last year, despite one of the worst offensive lines in front of him. He can make plays on the move as well. I think Shedeur would be very good under the same circumstances at Texas.

You also have to remember, the NFL is a copycat league. Mobile QB’s, not only ones who can run, but escape pressure from the pocket & throw to receivers on the move. Shedeur has proven he has the ability to improvise & do that, Quinn not so much. I love Quinn’s arm talent but he will have to show some mobility & durability this year for him to move ahead of Shedeur imo.
