Sark eyeing NFL per report
This is the most exciting part of the season so far.

Thoughts on the Texas offense tonight
I still love Arch and I'm rooting for him. But I feel like Sark and Co. have focused so much on protecting Arch from the outside noise/pressure, instead of urging him to become the leader of this offense. He's the starting QB at The University of Texas. We need him to start acting like it.

Steve Sarkisian Press Conference + Texas Player Availability (Sept. 1)
We got Mosely and from all reports the coaches love him. He's been hurt/limited. Let the season play out and let go of the recency bias.

Steve Sarkisian Press Conference + Texas Player Availability (Sept. 1)
With the way the schedule plays out this year, it's completely understandable to shrink your WR rotation when you open up at Ohio State. Everyone should have had zero expectations for the freshmen in a game of that magnitude. The freshman should definitely get plenty of reps the next 3 weeks. Unless you've heard rumblings from the inside, I see no reason to be concerned.

Steve Sarkisian Press Conference + Texas Player Availability (Sept. 1)
Where is all the WR hate coming from? Arch couldn't make simple throws and OSU secondary is excellent. Let them actually have some opportunities to make plays. Good grief.

Thoughts on Arch Manning
@Gerry Hamilton Do we have any idea what the game day set up is with Sark/Milwee/assistants? Milwee is in the booth, correct? Do we know who is communicating with Arch/QBs on the sidelines?

Thoughts on Arch Manning
It was such a shocking and disappointing performance, and IMO it feels like he was just mentally overwhelmed throughout. Clearly he needs a lot more reps. After initially being pissed about our 3 non-conference home game schedule vs. scrubs coming up, it's probably just what the doctor ordered for Arch. I have no doubt he will learn a lot from this one and get better in a hurry.

Reshuffling on the OL (Monday 1:50 p.m.)
Maybe staff thinks Hutson/Robertson/Campbell is the best interior trio and are trying Neto at LT to see how he responds?

PFF ranks Texas top returning LB group
Tyanthony Smith flashed last year. We are absolutely loaded at LB.

Note on Justus Terry (Wednesday 6:03pm CST)
I'm guessing Terry is a 3 years and off to the NFL player. Whichever position that gets him on the field the quickest is good for him and good for us.

ESPN's Latest (Two Round) Mock Draft Has Three Longhorns In Top 16 Picks, Five in Top 50
Yeah, if people thought Texas fans were rough on Quinn... The Jets might be the last team I'd want him to get drafted by.
-
I might be done as a Mavs fan
Can't believe I'm saying this as a born and raised Houstonian, but I actually feel sorry for Dallas fans. This trade was practically a criminal act.

Will Quinn Ewers be successful in the NFL?
IMO - Needs to be drafted by coach/team that fully believe in him (true for everyone though, basically) - He needs to add good weight to withstand hits in the NFL - Needs to obsessively work on all the fundamentals of a drop back QB. Footwork, timing, reads, processing quickly, etc. Ditch the desired Mahomes style of play, it won't work for him. Be more like Drew Brees. - Be patient and take the 1-2 years as a backup to possibly turn into a starter.

Men's Basketball
I haven't watched a game all year. Use to watch every Texas MBB game I could. I'm sure there are many other fans like me, it's just untenable to stick with RT barring a miracle run here.

Spring Portal
I'm not knocking Sark. It's a compliment.
