@Bobby Burton mentioned this on the livestream. Texas volleyball has won 20 sets in a row, starting the streak in sets 4 and 5 against #4 Louisville and going on to sweep the next 6 opponents. Those 6 opponents included #9 Arizona State, #9 TCU, #21 Baylor and #21 Missouri. 

They look to keep that streak alive this Sunday against Mississippi State at Starkville, 2 pm , SEC+.

At least the volleyball team is living up to their standard.  It's amazing what Coach Elliott has done year in and year out, he loses 8 players to graduation/transfer this past offseason, starts 3 freshman, and is undefeated with a #2 ranking.  In the last 19 seasons, they've reached the final four 14 times.  If they make it again this year, that will be 15/20 seasons for a 75% rate.  Just below 50% on the finals/championship game appearance.

Just imagine if any of the other major sports programs on campus could do that.  (Football, either basketball, baseball/softball)

Elliott has been amazing for Texas volleyball. Volleyball is the higher profile sport with more teams competing but Coach Reese with swimming had a really long run of dominance. Two of the best to do it at Texas over a long period of time. 
 

I’m not sure any coach in a big 3 sport has had that type of success, especially in the modern era. Wooden at UCLA was something else but I don’t think he could go on that run in today’s NCAAs.

In baseball, Skip Bertman's run in the '90s and early '00s was something too.

Love being able to watch the games but damn the quality of the SEC network +announce crews is not good

Let's tap the brakes. I don't find the SECN quite as a cringe-worthy. Nothing personal against any Lowell Galindo fan club members.

I wasn't a fan of Galindo, but some of these SECN announcers make him look like an all-star. 

What I meant in my comment was the quality of content, announcers were secondary to me, but they weren't too bad.  Seems to me like many of the LHN announcers went out of their way to not be Texas biased (including former Longhorns) where as some of the SECN announcers do not hide that they are biased to their home team.

Are you destitute and homesteading an abandoned trailer in Brewster Co?  It was easy to get if you cared enough about UT sports other than football.
