Vandy just look so defeated. Oh well at least they get to try some real bbq and not that over sauced crap they eat in Nashville.

I had no idea that Vandy had dropped Volleyball in 1980.  First SEC match in 45 years!

Vandy's #9 is so Itty bitty but she has the bunnies. She gets up

Great offensive games from Stafford, Vander Wal and Harvey. Cari spears had 9 kills but also 7 attack errors on 20 swings. 
 

Considering we were missing out setter, really strong performance to get the sweep. 

They took the foot off the gas in set 3, became complacent, and starting making errors/mistakes that they normally wouldn't make.  Definite teaching moment because momentum can swing quickly and against a better opponent could lead to a loss.  See last year vs Missouri or ATM.

This is a great point and a good time for this team to hopefully learn this lesson.

Sports like Volleyball and Tennis are interesting because you can't build a lead that carries over to the next set. Up 2 sets to 0, well, that 3rd set starts off 0-0 once again and you've got to start from scratch building an advantage. 

 

I won't post every highlight on this thread but this play last night was amazing.

A diving dig and a scramble to get the ball over the net, followed by another diving dig to set up the point winning kill. 

This team is talented and incredibly scrappy on defense. They won't allow teams to score any easy points on them.

Next match is Missouri Friday in the Greg 8pm SEC+ Network

Missouri is one of the better teams in the SEC, behind Texas, Kentucky and A&M and on par with Florida and Tennessee.
