Texas feels he’s the best best in the portal. Rankings be damned.

Feel like he would have drove in quite a few of those that were lob

So if my math is right

C- portal

1B- Livingston

2B- Mendoza

SS- Rodriguez

3B- Borba

LF- Williams

CF- Robbins

RF- Moroknek

DH- Freeman

Sounds like we’re still trying to get a SS though so assuming Rodriguez won’t end up there and still some shuffling around to be had. Gasparino I’m assuming is still a TBD on if he’ll be back next season with these new outfielders coming in.

I’m gonna be straight… Gas can portal and I’m sure zero people here would care. He has a lot of upside and I hope him the best, but he was so inconsistent and when he was down he was 💩

Gasparino and Flores had such big holes in their strike zones I rather think it points to bad hitting coaching due to their similarities.

A lot of Texas hitters had too much weight too far forward in their hitting stances. They were doomed by off speed pitches with any bite on the break.

So, Tulo sucks then?

Tulo has forgotten more about baseball than well ever know. He has his work cut out on Gasparino because he's so dang tall.

Ppl again Tulo was not the hitting problem if so he'd be gone.. Yes he takes the blame because he's the hitting coach but again Tulo wasn't the problem

Great news! I’m loving Schloss’ approach to recruiting. Can’t wait to see a lineup full of his guys.

Yeah, but I was just trying to figure out who you think is the issue given that you stated Flores' and Gaspo's problems "point to bad hitting coaching". If Tulo is the hitting coach, are you saying he the problem?  If not, which coach is doing the bad hitting coaching?

For the record, I think Tulo is a huge asset.  Glad he's here.
