I think a little bit of our speed concerns at WR will be masked in part because Deandre Moore won’t run a sub 4.4 at the combine, but I think he will have an elite 10 yard split and his acceleration can shock defenses.

Add to that, everything I’ve read has said that Livingstone has legit, legit speed.

Legit production at this level should be more of a concern than a deep speed threat. We can hope livingstone is ready, But all we got is hope at this point with him. 

We need somebody to take attention away from Wingo. Moore isn't going to do that. Wingo struggled a bit when the threat of I. Bond was not on the field. For Wingo to be as effective as he can be, someone else has to warrant attention as well. Besides Wingo, there isn't' another WR on the roster that will demand anything other than JAG attention. We have to get someone in there who can be a real threat. We don't have that on the roster as of today.

I watched Arch’s season highlights last night. He and Wingo were dynamic together. I think Wingo is going to have a monster season.

We have two 5 stars coming in my dude. Receiver is the easiest position to transfer from HS to college.

Wingo and Niblett have 10.something 100m speed.  The effective field of play will be bigger next year.  

I’m willing to bet if you rank our receivers in speed vs other teams across the country, we’re easily in the top 10. Our receivers are fast enough, wasn’t the problem this past season.

Our problem was Quinn not being able to get the ball to guys open deep, also not being able to create time with his feet for guys to get open deep. Highly likely those problems are solved with Arch. 

Speed isn't a concern. Matthew Golden wasn't winning his routes speed, he gained much of his separation with his stem at the top of his routes. Sure we probably don't have anyone on the team that can house a bubble screen 57 yards, but we do have guys who can get behind people. Combine that with Sark's ability to scheme people open and you'll see we'll be ok. 

Deandre Moore and Wingo have better chemistry with Arch. 

I'm not that concerned. The guys we have are great. Just need to keep recruiting at a high level there. Would be nice to have a transfer guy, but we either didn't land or go after any of the guys jumping in. I think with Moore, Wingo and whoever out of - Livingstone, Butler, Deboise and the incoming Fr can get it done. Plus you'll have Niblett who has legit speed as a guy you can use all over. Washington at TE is also a guy to watch, very athletic and will be a great TE for us (imo). 

Understand the concern from people, but I think we'll be fine.

I remember watching Livingstone's hudl tape and being very impressed. Not sure how much he has progressed since getting to Texas, but he'll have a chance to showcase himself this Spring and during Winter workouts. Same with Butler and Deboise. Guys like Ffrench, Lockett and McHutchinson are talented Fr, they'll push for a spot, too. Lots of talent, just not much experience outside of Moore and Wingo. 

Personally think Wingo is about have a crazy year.

They're going to use him as both. He'll be that speed guy they utilize, similar to K-Rob, Bolden or even Blue, if you will. He'll be a weapon for Arch.

Per Inside Texas Livingstone is doing very well behind the scenes and was close to breaking through to playing on the field this season. They also report that he is super fast. 
 

Manning has a legit connection with Wingo and Moore. You could see it when he played. Most his second team reps were with Wingo back in the spring and summer and it showed. I think both those guys have good years, and Wingo has a monster season

Nobody needs to worry about the speed of this WR group.  Speed was not a problem with DeAndre Moore or Ryan Wingo.  And it won't be with Kaliq Lockett or Jaime Ffrench either.  What I've heard on Butler and Livingstone are that both have good speed.  

We need to protect the QB, solidify the run game and get good decisions and accuracy from the QB position.  Worry about that.  

Would you love to have a guy that can take the top off like Worthy or Bond? Sure. 

I think they'll be looking for that veteran in the spring, but I also don't think that what they're rolling out there is a bunch of guys who can't run either.

I don't deny his speed, I've seen his tape. The guy can flat out run. Hope he gets a shot, because he's a potential stud if he can get it together. I agree about Arch, Moore and Wingo. I'm sure he'll continue to build that rapport with the other guys and the TE's over the off season. I think a guy like Washington at TE, can be another great weapon for him. Same for Niblett (who has great speed).

We'll see what they decide to do the Spring portal, if there is a more experienced WR they want to grab or if they're happy with what they've got. Same for TE. I'm personally hoping that Shannon steps up, too. A guy his size, would be a mis match nightmare in the red zone. Similar to Helm (though I think he was underutilized in the red zone).

I think, depending on what they do with the interior OL, it could be better than previous years? Depending on how things shape out, you've got some massive dudes on the interior. COuld be Umeozulu, Hutson and Campbell or even throw in Kibble if he continues progressing like we keep hearing. That will be a great spot to watch this off-season and especially Spring. Potential attrition there, too. Also gotta see what they do with the Notre Dame guy they offered. 

As you said about WR, not worried about speed. I think the guys we have are very talented and will be really good this coming season. Very competitive time during Winter workouts and Spring ball coming up there.
