End of game or end of half scenarios. It rewards the defense for forcing a punt late in the half. It will be important for punters to understand the situation and not allow a fair catch on a late half/game punt. It will need to be out of bounds or otherwise not fieldable. In some situations, depending on the margin, it would be better to take a safety than attempt a punt.

Wisner was/is a good player. Solid #2 RB. But he's not really a lead back for a team in the hunt for a title. He has patience and pretty good vision, but he's not particularly strong and let's face it, he's very slow for a D1 RB. He just can't make the plays with his legs that he sees with his eyes. Texas Tech is signaling that integrity in college sports is a thing of the past. It's an idea like amateurism that simply won't survive our culture.

The only way that schools will be able to protect college athletics is to form a new league that excludes Texas Tech this fall. The entire college sports landscape ends if the 2026-2027 season includes players known to have bet on their own teams. It will essentially become pro wrestling. Sure there will be some fans, but outcomes will not be competitive. And OTF needs a new sponsor if their attorney is defending the killing of college sports.
