Thanks CJ ... I was looking at the ESPN stats for ASU and they didn't show Tapp with any stats in 2024 (tackles etc) so I just assumed he didn't play at all.

Portal recruiting is a black box.  Seems like recruiting services just don’t have the sources that have been developed in the HS recruiting circles (i.e. high school staffs). 

The signal-to-noise from agents in NIL era makes them pretty useless.

I’ve had a theory that internet recruiting services cleaned up a lot of cheating. Too many people exchanging information. But portal recruiting is still the Wild West.
