Starting a quick tracker of the portal entries we see start to file in with the turn of the calendar to December.

Signing day will garner a lot of excitement, but these will be some names to keep an eye on in the ever-changing landscape of college football.

Would Texas take a chance on Hudson ? Conception would be huge but he’s probably Kstate bound with his younger brother

In regards to Texas, I bet they kick the tires, but I don't think if they will go all out for him. Look at who Texas has pursued at WR in the portal under Sark – Neyor, Mitchell, Golden, Bond, all have elite production or multiple years of production

That was my thought. He doesn’t really count as a “veteran”. Doesn’t seem better than a HS recruit

You're not wrong. They have also gone after Agiye Hall and Amari Niblack though. May not be apples to apples, and perhaps they have learned from those lessons. Who knows.

The recruiting support staff probably has a good idea who entering portal from other schools and started evaluating.
