Was looking ahead at where US Softballs roster may be for LA28 Olympics and in all honesty we may have four longhorns for team USA. 
 

Plus I believe Dayton plays for ten Italy if they qualify would push it to at least five horns at the LA28 Olympics for softball.

Yes, speaks to the program Coach White has built at Texas.  Glad you brought up Bella Dayton.  She and the Chicago Bandits play here in a few minutes in the best two out of three AUSL championship series against the Utah Talons on ABC.

Softball is going to be amazing next year! So much talent.

Totally---- the work never stops. But it’s okay to be fired up about the talent we’ve got. Next year has real potential.

I forgot Mary Iakopo plays for the Chicago Bandits too.  Hoping her and Bella Dayton can rally and win championship rings tomorrow.

Unless they fall off a cliff, softball should definitely be in contention for the post season and a legit chance at the championship.  Of all the teams on campus, the probably would have the best odds (outside of Men's Swimming & Diving and Rowing) to play for the ship.

Makes you wonder if Reese Atwood could come back?  Doubt she would as she has now played a full season of pro softball, but still...

I’ve been wondering. She’d make more at Texas and went pro because she believed she was out of eligibility. 
 

I’ve been thinking about Citlaly, too. But there’s only one spot available.

For the record, the team ended up splitting the games with the Dutch. They lost 8-7 on Monday (after giving up 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th) and won 7-5 yesterday. If you are interested, you can watch the games
