Tech finally realized continuing to fight this would be worse for their athletic department than cutting ties

I bet Tech was advised that the crazy injunction was going to get overturned which would mean the State of Texas would no longer support them.

I was really hoping that Sorsby would play and then all their wins would get vacated.  That would have been a more just ending.

So why would a NFL team mess with a player not two months removed from inpatient treatment for compulsive gambling?  

Tech found a way to make themselves look as bad as possible while getting to the result everyone wanted.  

This almost makes Tech look worse imo after two weeks of holier than thou rhetoric.
