SEC needs to break off. Cody Campbell has ruined college sports. There was almost certainly some fishy business behind the scenes to get this injuction granted.

As a friend of mine just said. it is time collective bargaining and to form a new league. Or you are correct. It is over.

exactly....A Lubbock alumni reunion in robes doesn’t control national eligibility, and it won’t stop the NCAA from pushing for an expedited hearing or dropping the forfeiture hammer if they need to. All this does is make Tech look even more desperate.

Absolute insanity.

This is like rule number one that you cannot violate. And it's drilled into everyone's heads at a very early age. But this court says, "Nah it's cool, because it would have like really sucked for him if he was suspended, you know?" 

So what happens now? This is bullsh*t. There’s a huge target on little Brendon’s chest.

Sell ur soul to the devil and you live like a king in hell. TT will pay for this in the long run. How the rest of college football deals with this is a bigger concern for college anthletcis and where we should shift our focus. 

This ruling makes no sense.  

“Irreparable harm” is the entire point of rules and punishment.

imagine being a truck driver, getting multiple dui’s and being let back on the road because you are gonna “suffer a probable, imminent, and irreparable injury” 

Hard to wrap my head around this. 

 

Can the NCAA say fine you can play but your program is not allowed to participate in the playoffs?  I guess that makes no sense because he wasnt at Texh during the period of time in question

they can Push for an expedited hearing, they can appeal the injunction, they can drop the forfeiture hammer. Most likely response? The NCAA immediately asks for an expedited hearing and gets it. 

I cannot say for a certainty that this judge got paid or was facing intense pressure from his community, but that's the first thing that enters my mind and most likely others as well. My 5 year old knows better than this judge.
