The Longhorns and the Volunteers play the first of three games at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville tonight at 5:30 p.m. The game will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.

Big first game here for the Horns. Finishing the SEC strong would be fantastic to lock in that top eight national seed.

Mendoza came down on his shoulder.

Grindlinger with a two-out RBI double puts the Vols on top.

Hope he didn’t tear labrum. I did that similarly. 

Volantis retires Chapman on a groundout to second.

Kuhns is running his pitch count up (34 through 1.2 innings), but he’s retired the last five Longhorns he’s faced.

@Jeff Howe  where the hell are the games on Austin radio when 1300 is airing Express games?  I hate using the internet stream when I'm driving, but I can never find the game on terrestrial radio when we're pre-empted by Express.
