Was told Texas staff worked the guys really hard Monday, and was pleased with how they responded and performed. 

With the 5x5 rule potentially passing, does this affect Texas' pursuit of one more big internationally to complete this roster?  Would the staff decide it is not necessary and be more willing to play Coleman Elkins if needed?

Elkins will develop this year. Needs to get stronger and play against high caliber players/athletes on the interior for a year 

Texas is still expected add one more player to the roster

Hank Gathers died, Gary Payton was the star, Derrick Coleman played in some All Star Games.  I don't recall who was further down in that draft but I think Chicago secured Kukoc.  It wasn't deep, as you suggest.

Derrick Coleman had top ten all time talent. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to work too hard at his craft. Would have loved to see how Hank or Len Bias worked out. 

Was told Austin Goosby had a very good week of workouts. As is always the case, getting more aggressive attacking as he adjusts to P4 guys with experience he's going against every rep. Saw the ball go down from the perimeter more too. 

Mikey Lewis was solid again this week. Has been very consistent

David Punch brought the house down with a dunk on another big in the half court
