The last two tournaments lead me to think the days of High Points and Saint Peter’s are done. 

Chalk is king now. 

With this we’re getting awfully close to letting teams under .500 into the tournament which is a real shame. 

Auburn toed the line of getting in this year and Texas got in two years ago when they were two games over .500 I believe. 

 

The sad part is that there will still be all this discussion of teams on the "bubble" that were left out.  I realize that UT benefitted from it this year, but what does the "First Team Out" look like when you move to 76?

This is exactly what I was going to say. Why even have a season? Just play a conference tourney then straight to the national tourney.
