Texas fans complaining about this era is the funniest thing ever. We are finally a power player in CFB landscape because of this era and people don't want that.

He’s right, it sucks.  Put bowl participation in the damned NIL contracts. If you portal or opt out for the draft, the player is responsible for penalties on reneging on their contract to…actually play a full season of football.

If you don’t want players opting out, then make the playoff.

Don't disagree, but I just don't want things to deteriorate to the point it starts losing its overall appeal.

I know we're a long way from that happening, but I'm worried we may be at the peak and it's down hill from here. Especially when you start factoring in the NCAA's willingness to allow college athletes to bet on sports. 

We need guardrails ASAP.  Don't allow kids to bet. Put a cap on transfers... Whether that's a max a school can accept each year (unless HC change) or max number of times a "student-athlete" can transfer... Just spit balling, but we need something.
