Texas is back on the board on the offensive line! Former Wake Forest offensive tackle Melvin Siani has signed with the Longhorns. Siani spent 2025 at Wake Forest after two years at Temple. He spent 858 snaps at the left tackle position with Demon Deacons in 2025. This past season, Siani posted an 80.7 pass protection grade according to PFF and did not allow a sack the entire season. Siani is listed at 6-foot-6 and 302 pounds. In his career, he has 1577 snaps at the D1 level as well. The Longhorns baseball season came to an abrupt end on Sunday afternoon following a 10-2 loss to Louisiana. Despite beating the Ragin Cajuns on Friday with relative ease, Texas turned into Jekyll and Hyde yet again and looked like a completely different team. Maybe it was due to a post-Texas A&M hangover like a couple of players mentioned in the post-game press conference. Maybe it wasn't. Texas is hosting former Georgia offensive guard Jamal Meriweather for a visit Friday morning, On Texas Football has learned. Meriweather appeared in 12 games as a reserve in 2025, and has a career snap count of 77 through three years in Athens. The redshirt sophomore is listed at 6-feet-7-inches and 305 pounds.
