While the recruiting calendar is ever-changing thanks to the incompetence of the NCAA, one thing about the offseason has remained a constant: Texas waiting until the month of June to start hosting official visitors. The Texas staff is out on the trail right now as the contact window carries on. One stop that the staff will be making will be out west in California to 4-star 2025 EDGE prospect Hayden Lowe out of Westlake Village, California. DENTON, Texas — OTF 4-star+ wide receiver Briceson Thrower Jr. is climbing recruiting boards across the country after an impressive junior season at North Forney. AUSTIN, Texas — Jack Endries worked out in front of NFL scouts on Tuesday at Texas’ Pro Day after his first and only season with the Longhorns. “Went good,” Endries told reporters afterwards. “Loved running routes at the end. It’s kind of what I came here to do — show that I can run routes with everyone here. Bench pressed a little bit. I think my agility drills weren’t that good, but it’s alright. Ahead of the 2024 Texas spring game, defensive lineman Zac Swanson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Swanson appeared in three games during his three years on campus as a Longhorn. Four-star TE from California locks in official visit Four-star tight end Kaleb Edwards (El Dorado Hills, Cali./Oak Ridge) picked up an offer from Texas January 16, 2024.
