Earlier today around 1pm on his ranch, Jordan Shipley, the former Texas wide receiver, was involved in an accident. Shipley escaped the accident with the help of a worker nearby but he was severely burned in the process. Shipley was care-flighted to Dell-Seaton Hospital in Austin and is currently undergoing the first of what will likely be several surgeries ahead. Please pray for Jordan and his family, as well as his dad Bob Shipley, who is on the way to the hospital to be with Jordan and his family now. Thank you. View full news story

The University of Texas System Board of Regents is set to approve a three-year, multi-million contract for Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp at next Thursday’s regents meeting. The regents are also set to approve contract extensions for offensive line coach Kyle Flood and linebackers coach Johnny Nansen. Muschamp’s guaranteed salary is split between his annual salary for three years ($1.08 million for the first year) and three professional services payments ($1.62 million in the first year)…

ESPN Way-Too-Early All-American Team (5 Longhorns on 1st team) QB, WR, OT, EDGE and LB. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47887250/2026-college-football-way-too-early-all-america-team 1. I think this is really good way-too-early list. 2. If Texas has all five of these hit, they will have a top 6 level team come CFP time because the starts will have been stars (performance and health).

Bobby, Was listening to Most underrated portal pickup episode - details below. It was a pro J Crockett ad. Is OTF affiliated or selling advertisement space to that campaign? Was surprised to hear it, but if I do again, you can cancel the subscription. Its a sweet deal for you, auto renew at the high rate, several years going, but I happily support the show. I will no longer if that is indeed the case.

LSU becomes the first SEC school to incorporate jersey sponsorships across the major sports. It was released Monday morning what the new LSU jerseys would look like. I am sure this is widely opposed by majority of fans across the country.

Highlights from Opening Weekend of Texas Baseball *** Texas took care of business with a three-game sweep over UC Davis to begin the season at home. The Longhorns have a Tuesday game against Lamar, then will get back to action with a three game home series against Michigan State. – Took Care of Business Wins are wins, make no mistake about that. Wins of 12–2 and 9–1 will highlight the weekend, but a tight 6–4 contest as well at least provided some pressure situations deep into contests for the Horns. Consider me a fan of what Texas was able to deploy from the back end of the bullpen. Anthony Pack Probably my favorite part of …

Very, very key piece to this 2026 team. Cam Coleman, Rasheem Biles and the RB’s are going to get the majority of the attention, of course. Thats expected.
