Texas/OTF taking everything from Kirby Smart
Need to take away the whining next. Not exactly magnanimous of a championship winning coach to constantly complain about recruiting, schedules, refs, the SEC Commissioner, and the inability to control the criminal behavior of his players.

Relationship over transactions
Arch for Texas fans against Ohio State.

Relationship over transactions
This little guy reminds me of Kirby and the whiners about money and technology.

SEC Media Days 2025: Garrett Nussmeier on Arch Manning
Arch posting in St. Louis trenches.

Relationship over transactions
Kirby needs to establish some relationships with the Athens PD. Lived there for a while when I was seventeen and eighteen without ever getting a single ticket.

Confused Californian Asks: Why Is A&M Our Rival?
I've said it before. We need to cut off the criminal sooners as our "rival." Stop playing them every year. They won't be able to recruit Texas. They'll be where they belong as Arkansas State. Send them straight to purgatory where they belong. We need legitimate home grown rivals like LSU, Georgia and Florida.

SEC Media Days live thread: Wednesday
Listening to Jim Nagy claim the criminals could have a NFL draft pick from every position group next spring makes me wonder if the drugs are flowing more freely in Norman than during the Switzer era or he's setting up Venables.

Bobby cooking
You can tell OTF knew about Johnson ahead of time because the video was recorded last week when Gerry was still in California and Bobby was at home.

SEC Media Days 2025: One-stop shop for Tuesday's Longhorn recruiting and team news
Check out the video of Arch signing a kid's jersey who had been waiting since 7:00 AM. The kid was from Georgia.

Who scores first against Ohio State?
Arch as Kilgore going to Columbus. I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Not really. Words matter. When I wrote "against" I meant competition. I wake up thinking about that kind of stuff. is a contributor to the second volume of the Cormac McCarthy Society's casebook series, titled They Rode On: Blood Meridian and the Tragedy of the American West. He has written articles such as "Borderline Insanity: Modernity As A Political Problem in Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian". His work often involves analyzing McCarthy's use of eschatological symbolism and exploring connections to philosophical frameworks like German Idealism (Schopenhauer and Schelling) and Eastern non-dualism, according to Academia.edu. has also published on other topics, including an article titled "The Stoic Western Hero: Robert B. Parker's Westerns—Part 2"

It's true this isn't the most intellectual board in the world. Maybe I should leave you guys alone. The judge didn't leave the kid alone in Blood Meridian.

My deal is it's basketball, sports, or whatever. We're competing for who's best. I think I can write against anyone in the world. That's how I was trained to write at Texas.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
I remember watching live as it happened and thinking, "Why is Kobe doing that? Gonna win." The reason was he wanted to win the next ten years.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
What's Kobe telling him? He's saying I'm whipping your ass. You, Carter, McGrady, Don't matter.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
Killin that chump.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
Kobe defended Iverson, Iverson never defended Kobe. Let's get real. Iverson didn't want to practice. Kobe practiced on his own at 4:00 AM. Kobe 5--Iverson 0. Defense: Iverson 6'160. LeBrick 6'8" 260.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
Go right to Caleb Downs and tell em he gonna light him up.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
Iverson complained to the refs that Kobe started it. We need some trash talk like this from Arch against Ohio State. Kobe talking to Iverson and Raja Bell.- Procedural or ticking time bomb?
I would like to add that the potential for congressional legislation doesn't change anything absent agreement from the players' side. The Supreme Court already voted 9-0 that limiting compensation to players is unconstitutional. Differently stated, if Congress attempts to codify the House Settlement, the Supreme Court will almost certainly strike it down unless there is agreement from the players, which ain't happening.- Procedural or ticking time bomb?
Legal action is coming soon. We're in good shape either way. If there's an injunction against the clearing house, then it's open season and we're right back to the last several years. If the initial ruling is House stands, you'll see numerous decommits and it's open season.- International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
Received a message this morning from an AI directory asking me to give a summary of my published writings on McCarthy's Blood Meridian or the Evening Redness in the West. I think that's because a movie based on the book is coming out in the not too distant future. Told them to contact Matthew here at OTF. I can't shorten what I wrote, but he knows. - International F Declan Duru commits to Texas (Wednesday, 12:53 p.m.)
