Defensive back recruiting seems to be struggling this cycle.

Gideon and Joseph have been the weakest links of this staff so only time will tell.

Got a feeling that’ll change after either another successful season in the SEC or gideon and/or joseph are shown the door because the secondary is swiss cheese for the fourth season.

Being concerned with the secondary is a very valid concern. We’re possibly going into year four of a below average secondary. I am hoping a better pass rush will help, But we can’t bank on that. There’s a reason gideon nor joseph got that raise the other coaches did.

I’ll never understand ANY top defensive player choosing to play for riley. They type of program he runs can’t field a tough, competent defense to save their lives. Going on to defensive coordinator number three so at some point riley’s gotta look in the mirror.
