From what I could find we averaged 5.04 penalties a game for an average of 53.2 yards per game in 2005.

Very insightful stats Jeff. Imho, if we're going to increase our average penalties per game this season over 2025 levels we won't go very far, not unless we can still average 50-plus points a game. We would need a tremendous offset to overcome the opponents scores attributable to our penalties. I'd say we've got a lot to prove.

Any Akers-era players, certainly Earl is at the top of my list.

First time to make 2 games in the same series at the Disch. Glad to win the rubber match after yesterday's game. Lunch at Hoover's beforehand & today's victory made the whole trip an awesome experience I won't soon forget. Back in my Cypress house now typing this after a quick & light dinner.
