As of today, Brown is still planning to visit Tennessee, Texas and likely Miami. The latest here:

Good catch. Thank you! I like the height/length at guard for sure! Much better for the original idea of building a Miami Canes FF roster from a couple of years ago - skill with length at different spots on the perimeter.

Minimal other than some rim protection in a limited role. But don't want to sell his work ethic and late development short either. Playing at Oak Hill the last two seasons on the national circuit gives him a better shot of being a more impactful role player IMO

lol ... for sure! Basketball talent in the private schools for sure across Texas

He can anchor against the run for sure! And he's now 20-25 pounds heavier, and a lot stronger with development since arriving.

Jamie Vinson was a teammate of 2026 wing Bo Ogden at St, Michael's when Ogden was a freshman. Vinson transferred to Oak Hill for senior season.

Allen was St. Stephens ... but those two schools have to have play each other lol

The one thing rarely mentioned ... Texas doesn't have unlimited $$$, and has to walk a line with all of that.

Texas has one potential portal spot remaining. We shall see what happens with that. With Vinson in the fold, here is the updated 2024-25 roster Texas Longhorns 2024-25 Roster (June 3) PG/CG Jordan Pope, 6-1, junior PG Julian Larry, 6-3, senior SG Chendall Weaver, 6-3, junior SG Tre Johnson, 6-6, freshman SG Tramon Mark, 6-6, senior SF Devon Pryor, 6-7, sophomore F Jayson Kent, 6-8, senior PF Nic Codie, 6-9, freshman PF Zerik Onyema, 6-8, senior C Jamie Vinson, 6-10, freshman C Kadin Shedrick, 6-11, senior

Vinson made spring OV's to Rutgers, South Carolina and Kentucky prior to Texas.

Correct you are! Grown 1.5 inches in the last couple of years.

Rutgers and South Carolina wanted Vinson

Texas is circling back on Brazile a little. Not seen as the ideal fit, however. These agents are throwing out seriously crazy numbers for the best players remaining in the portal right now. Hawkins people asking schools for 2 mill. lol
