  1. Now this is the path every Texas fan should be hoping for this season. Play the First Round and Second Round games at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. Play the Regional Semifinal and Regional Final games at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio to get them to the National Semifinal and National Final games at Ford Field in Detroit.
  2. I like that this play happened against Texas’ first opponent of the 2026 season, Texas State.
  3. Big loss for Michigan. I doubt any preseason top 10 team has a spot for him as most rosters are already completed. Plus he’s coming off an ACL injury that happened back in February. Texas has plenty of firepower in the backcourt anyway.
  4. Whoomp, there it is!
  5. And now on X the original post and Royal’s reply are gone…
  6. Reese Atwood feels right at home today!
  7. Tony Vitello getting a good one.
  8. Turns out TFof68 was onto something when they made this list…

  10. Given the amount of talent that has been added to this roster this offseason, has Texas reached low Tier 1 status in basketball NIL or are they in the high Tier 2 range?
  11. This breaking news deserves a Bobby Burton BOOM and a Mike Breen BANG
  12. Don’t want to count our chickens before they hatch, but this offseason could really give Texas Cam Coleman in January, Isa Torres in June, and possibly Marcus Spears Jr. with some post 4th of July fireworks. That’s amazing.
  13. Would be insane if Sean Miller, Chris Ogden, CDC, etc. pulled this off. I would be speechless. Would be the most shocking move of the offseason not just for Texas basketball, but Texas athletics period. Just sounds too good to be true, but hopefully it is true.
  14. Yeah that’s my first thought as well. How would that work from an NIL perspective? Texas has one roster spot left. I assume they’re still searching for a backup big. Spears Jr. could fill that role, but I find it hard to believe a player of his caliber would reclassify to ‘26 and come to Texas and compete with Clark for that backup PF spot. Maybe UK made a power play to see if they could add him as a starting PF to their roster for this season.
  15. If I told you a year from now when we're looking back at Texas basketball's 2026-27 season that: Isaiah Johnson averaged 18 ppg Matas Vokietaitas averaged 16.5 ppg David Punch averaged 14.5 ppg Austin Goosby averaged 11 ppg Mikey Lewis averaged 10 ppg Elyjah Freeman averaged 9 ppg Would y'all believe that?
  16. Hopefully Texas has a nice run from 2026-2029 so the 2020s are in this conversation five years from now. Gotta get one this season though because they probably won't be good enough to win it all again until the 2028 season, but so many things can change in two years, so we'll see.
  17. No chance but would've been nice to get to that game. I will say this, the experience of having to play and lose to the most talented team in college football history would've set the 2002 Texas team up nicely to return to the national title game the next season. The 2002 team not winning it all hurts more than the 2001 team because it was wide open. Ohio State won it, but Miami, Georgia, Oklahoma or Texas could've won it all that season.
  18. Loved Chendall Weaver’s hustle and heart, but I think Amari Evans will provide that plus a more well-rounded offensive game. Hopefully Texas finds a big to fill that last roster spot.
